355ml can, a leading candidate in the 'do we really need this particular product iteration' sweepstakes.
This beer pours a crystal clear, very pale yellow straw tinge, with three puffy and loosely foamy fingers of bone white head, which leaves some archipelago lace around the glass as it quickly bleeds away.
It smells of mildly sweet grain/corn, a bit of acetone, and weedy, faintly skunky hops. The taste is hard to discern from my apparently not forgotten experience of the local dance/dive bars, and the aura that wafts from the floors of those places - sweet nondescript grain, neutered booze, and dead flowers, compounded all by a weedy dryness (the 'hops', ladies and germs).
The carbonation is on the low side, just a meek, stuttering frothiness, the body light in weight, but not really thin, strangely, and the smoothness quotient facing little opposition. It finishes off-dry, the boring graininess making faces at the boring, but low on the skank index, well, hops.
Well, the lesser of two evils, I suppose, as regular Kokanee tastes like ass (and is not worth the extra point of booze, all other things being equal), and this is just generally innocuous, offering little to recommend it by, good or bad. You could do worse by light adjunct lagers, providing they have to exist in the first place.

355ml can poured into pint glass 30/6/11
A clear straw yellow with lots of bubbles of all sizes feeding a short lived finger of bone white foam that leaves no lace, about what I expect from the style
S sweet corn with some cracker
T not much really, mimics the smell but nothings offensive but there's not much to be offended by
M it's light as the name would suggest, lots of bubbles and a clean finish
O on par for the style and that's about it, nothing offensive and that's out of character for light lagers
I'm rating this as a light lager and in all honesty its something I doubt I'll drink again. If they were trying to make a watery near flavorless beer they succeeded.
