A: A light amber color with a quickly dissipating head, although it looks decent with the head on it, it never sticks around for long.

S: Sharp with fruit and punchiness immediately detectable

T: Fruit characters with a definite caramel character hinted at. Strong hop presence, a bit bitey

M: Very carbonated. Reminds me of pop-rocks

Got this beer on a whim and after eying the $20 price-tag. Not a bad beer, especially for the price. It is interesting to say the least. The caramel elements were a definite surprise. I had to get the second beer down to convince myself they were actually there.

A great summer beer, I conclude.

Not awful, but pretty boring flavour and totally forgettable. Refreshing I suppose after hard work, but not for simply enjoying a beer. Not one of the Netherlands' finest. Flavour disappears quickly on the palate, making it seem watery, but potentially dangerous to drink quickly.

Picked up a bottle at the House of 1,000 for a dollar.

A - Pours a bit darker than most Euro lagers. A very bright orange with a 1/2 inch of head.

S - As expected mostly grains and mild hops with lemon grass and a touch of apple of pear tartness.

T - More sour than I expected but it balanced the grains and hops pretty well. Still not as refreshing as I wanted.

M - Light bodied went well with my Subway.

Overall it was worth grabbing up for a dollar pretty average Euro not quite pale lager.

Another TJ's grab. Poured into straight pint glass. Poured a clean, clear, bright yellow color with 1-1/2 inches of white head that had very good retention and OK lacing.

The aroma featured some very nice earthy grains, a bit of gentle hopping and wasn't overly sweet, as some of this style can be. The flavors were the same, nice grains, just a bit of balancing hops and, again, the beer wasn't as sweet as expected.

The body, while still thin, was on the fuller side of average for the style. Drinkability was pretty good, and would probably be very good on a hot day. Overall, a decent little brew that is a good value @$1.50 for 16oz can. Worth grabbing if you see it.

Canned on 11/6/11.

Pours a crystal clear orange with a 2 inch foamy orange-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of grain, sugar, and some fruity aromas. Taste is much the same but there is a weird metallic off flavor that is hard to get over. Only a slight hop presence is tasted here. This beer has a slightly flat mouthfeel with just a hint of carbonation. Overall, this is a pretty bad beer and definitely not something I would go after again.

It smells sweet, like honey, which comes from the malt. Maybe a slight presence of fruitiness from the hops, but maybe not.

The taste is even more sweet, almost cloyingly sweet. As I keep sipping it starts to become more crisp. Hardly any bitterness from the hops.

Overall pretty good for the style, but nothing I'd want to buy again .

A: One pint can that makes it very clear that this beer is IMPORTED. Seriously, the word imported appears half a dozen times. Brewed 1/11. Expiration 4/12 on the bottom of the can. Pours a pale straw color with excellent clarity. Head is white, two fingers, rapidly dissipating. Carbonation is lively.

S: Standard Euro pale lager. Slightly citric and grassy hops in the nose.

T: Fairly nondescript. Very middle of the pack as far as the style goes. If beer is liquid bread, this is a liquid cracker with a mild hop finish. Not stellar, but definitely not bad, either. Fairly clean finish with a minor lingering aftertaste.

M: Light feel, carbonated. Not terrible, not great. Again, this beer feels very average.

O: I knew what I was getting into when I bought the six pack. This is a European MGD. Bought at Trader Joe's for 5.99 for a six pack of 16 oz cans, so I guess I can't complain.

I poured this from an inch or so above the glass giving me a big white head that dies down into a decent lacing on a clear golden colored beer, nice looking very similar in appearance to Budweiser or the general class of beer.

This light bodied beer has a light sour sour citrus/lemon aroma that transfer well into the taste adding a little bitterness to itself.

This beer finishes with a light sour dryish aftertaste, not impressed seems to be run of the mill American light lager affair, if that's what they were after they nailed it , but why send it half way around the world when at least 500 companies now make this west of the Mississippi.

1 pint can from Trader Joes Salem. $5.49 a six pack. Typical yellow lager..but the white head is thick and frothy and attractive enough. Aroma is OK..bready mostly but not unpleasant. Flavour is mostly light cereal and bread..with the slightest grassy tinge of hop. Light on the palate but OK on this hot night NOt bad at all..a simple lager thats easy to drink on the deck in summer

pours a dark golden hue with a frothy two-plus finger head. minimal lacing.

smells like a euro lager. straw, grains, a hint of floral hops, and i can almost smell that odd bitter. reminds me of carlsberg elephant in the nose.

yep. there it is. funky bitterness that is neither hoppy nor malty, but somewhere in between. bitter like tin foil. some decent malt sweetness intermingles (but definitely does not meld) with the straw notes and the bitterness.

mouth is light, almost creamy, a touch thick, almost a bit slick. that lingering bitterness isn't quite drying, yet oddly almost cloying.

all in all, a decent euro pils/pale/lager/whatever it is. it's a bit funky, but at the price, it ain't half bad. but it's not good enough to track down again.

In a can!

Pours a very light amber with a healthy, densely packed white head. Attractive.

Aroma is disappointing, flat and grainy. Not inoffensive, however.

Flavor is interesting, if a little gritty. Not much bitterness at all, but there's a nice cohesion to the whole thing. Maybe a bit too sweet, but not overbearing. Oddly similar to Tetley's English Ale (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/8535/706).

Mouthfeel could have been a bit more active, but I do like the creaminess of it quite a bit.

Overall, not a bad brew. And for the price -- 1.25 a pint -- a good value.
