First had: on tap at Big Bear, Coral Springs, FL
Standard but solid pale ale here. Poured a slightly hazy amber color, with a small white head that displayed moderate retention and a bit of lacing. Nice aroma of citrus and pine hops, with a bready malt base. The taste reflected the nose, nice citrus and pine hops, crisp, balanced with toasted bread, sugar cane, and some peach notes. Probably a little more on the malty side overall, but that's not really a problem when it comes to APAs in general. Basic stuff here, but all done well. Light-medium body, and quite drinkable overall.

A - Poured a hazy, golden amber color with a one-finger, off white head of bubbly foam. It had nice retention and left thin rings of lace on the glass.
S - It smelled of citrus, orange zest and pine. There was a touch of burnt toast notes, too.
T - It tasted of sweet caramel, toffee and bitter piney hops. There was a touch of citrus bite, too.
M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A medium bodied ale with a dry, clean finish.
O - This is a really good pale ale. Big hop profile with a bitter punch.

Poured a thin 1/4 in head that retain as just that and never diminished. Lots of lacing. Golden Orange color that seems a little lite for a pale.... ale almost too lite and clear.
Smell won me back... Lots of citrus and floral hops... Slight fruit smell as well.
Taste was good... Floral notes and citrus are abound... Low malt flavor
Light body that could use a boost
Glad I tried this beer... Really good aroma will always remind me of this one

This beer is closer to a IPA than a Pale. At 6.5 and 55 IBU's
This is an unfiltered beer so it keeps all of its intended flavors.
If you drink this one after trying something else first you will really get the fruity hop wallup.
Poured a deep amber color with a medium frothy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing.
Heavy hoppy citrus aroma. Cascade
Medium to Heavy body with a sticky texture.
Heavy hoppy flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of long duration. The Ibu's are well balanced.
Excellent beer. Like candy in a glass.
Serving type: on-tap

on tap at the brewpub. I noticed recently several brewpubs market their pales as their IPAs, including here. Well yes, 50ish IBU and Cascade hops. Decent malting. Some C aroma. Golden colour, cloudy, a head, bubbles. Better not in frosty mug, still tasty.

Poured as part of a sampler into a 5oz. sampler glass
A - Slightly cloudy Apricot in color with a course off white head. Nice lacing.
S - Hops, grapefruit and malt sweetness.
T - Sweet up front, a little caramel then hop bitterness follows.
M/F - light/medium body lightly carbonated.
D - Pretty nice IPA - I believe they were calling this an IPA on their menu.
