The family and i went here on a vacation to michigan adventure and alls we could say was wow. right on the river and was located across the street from our hotel within walking distance. I just didnt realize it until our last night next time i will head over a bit earlier.

Great beer (we had two flights), amazing service, and my kids still to this day talk about how great the food was here.

I ended up buying a hat and shirt for me.

I was there twice in one day. At lunch we sat outside and I had Korean Tacos. Very good. Served with seasoned chips and a very good salsa. At dinner I had a Reuben sandwich. Very good also. We were greeted by a hostess and seated quickly. She sat us at a table that did not have an umbrella and we asked to move to the table next to us with and umbrella, she simply moved the umbrella to our table. At dinner I sat at the bar and the girl pouring was helpful in picking a beer for me and good conversation.

Stopped in at Old Boys for some lunch and a couple of beers before heading to Odd Sides. Lots of swank for sale as you enter. Very nice and spacious inside, two seating areas, but the bar itself was pretty small. A little more upscale than many brewpubs, nice view of the channel. Overall a good looking place.

7 or 8 beers to choose from, along with wine and hard liquor. I had a decent IPA and a very nice sour.

Had a good perch sandwich with some great white chili. Food prices were a little on the high side.

Service was not overly friendly, but attentive.

Will return next time I am in the area.

I recommend the pizza, they use the spent grains with the dough, multiple sauce options and toppings! The snacks are great and I've also indulged in a few pulled pork sandwiches too.

The staple beers need work but are OK. After trying them a few times I just check out the rotating specialty beer menu and can say 9 times out of ten I'm thoroughly impressed.

Seconds from the lake shore and with a great view too. Check them out if you're in the Grand Haven / Spring Lake area.

Large open room in the bar area with the serving tanks directly behind the bar. There is dog memorabilia covering the walls, the rest of the bar area in made up of hightop tables looking out to the channel the runs in front of the place.

The beers are good but nothing that I would try to seek out to have. Our group had the black lager, imp IPA, Imp amber, a stout, and a barrel aged holiday stout.

The service was less then steller, the worst was watching our food sit in the kitchen window for over 15 min, and counting the time that wait staff walk by it without bring it to the table.

As you can see from the list above there was a good selection of beers on tap.

We had pizza with a spent grain crust that was good but not quite there yet, the crust was missing something. I haven't put my finger on yet.

Went after a long day of work to grab a beer and some food, heard it was good.

I don't even know where to really being with this review, it was an interesting experience.

Nice open bar area, some quieter seating off to the side, and the outdoor patio on the water. Open glass to view brewing equipment from the entry way and over the top of the liquor wall at the bar. Beers listing is oddly posted on a chalk board with some duct work in the way on a wall about 12 feet above the bar. It felt like they wanted to be just a brewpub but couldn't. Like I said, beer list on a chalk board, wine and mixed drinks on a laminated menu.

Beers were great. I had their stout, which was smooth but soft. My buddy had the pale ale but he's not a beer drinker. Had a pulled pork sandwich that was good. Large sandwich, should have cut in half to eat.

Service came and went. We sat at the bar and the bartender was slammed then stood around. Didn't really notice the waitstaff much.

Menu has a large selection of items, something for everyone. Beers were 5 or 6. Much more wine and liquor than beer available. Growlers and bobmers available to take home. Only had one meal, can't really speak about any of the rest of it. Not sure the quality dictates the prices.

The food was a bit pricey. My sandwich was $10 and the beers were $3 each. Beers are in the $3 to $5 range. Food ranges all over, upwards of $25 for a single meal. Not really what I want to pay when I'm going somewhere to get a beer with some dinner, not a dinner with a beer. I'm sure I will be back, as it is 10 minutes from my house and the Muskegon Brewing Co. is still in the works of opening.

Nice place located in Spring Lake. Situated right on the water-quite cavernous and open style floor plan. As noted before the dog theme is a bit over done but as noted here and there these folks sure do love their pups so its all in good fun.

Everything seemed alright quality wise. I had the 7 or 8 beer sampler-all were ok though nothing stood out for me. The hefe sure seemd to use an authentic yeast-it was very clovey and banana like. Oatmeal stout seemd the best of the bunch. Had a maple porter that was nothing special.

Service was very good-plenty of attention even as the place began to fill.

Selection was good-with 8 or more styles something for everyone.

Food seemed good-I only had a seared tuna appetizer that was damn tasty. I have heard positive things from others as far as the food goes but I just had the 1 appetizer.

All in all a positive experience. Again the beers were nothing to write home about but were tasty and satisfying. Theres a lot of decent beer spots in this area of MI. Worth a stop though I think I would steer towards Founders or Bells first.
