Grabbing lunch to bring home after running errands is a good excuse to try a new beer, no? This one poured a clear yellow/gold and had a nice fluffy random white head. I've never seen so many different sized bubbles. A hoppy nose greeted me as I raised my glass. Taste was similar to some lighter hued American macros such as High Life but this was more complex and drinkable (It wasn't adjuncty). A slight hop zing on the finish. All in all a good warm weather brew.

16.9 oz heavy brown bottle. I see it is the original old recipe & it has Pomeranian Tradition. I think Pomerania used to be part of Germany before WW2, after the war the UN gave this area to Poland.
The beer pours a slightly hazy gold with a massive chiffon like head. Nice sticky lacing. Note that this beer is called Amber, but it is a classic Pils.
The beer smells slightly spicy (peppery) with a bit of malts and grass. There is just the faintest hint of sulfur.
The taste is mildly bitter with a bit of spice. Lots of grassy taste and again that wee bit of sulfur. Beer sweetens a bit latter. Nothing really outstanding, but I would say it is a cut above the Becks, Heines, St. Paulie Girls, etc. Would go great with non spicy food.
Nice silky mouth with good carbonation. Drinkability is ok, but this one is not interesting enough to have more than a few.
