500 ml can, bought in a polish shop in Arnhem. Poured into my Guinness pint glass.
ABV 5.7%
Clear deep golden yellow colour, with one finger of white, froathy head on top, with low retention.Lots of bubbles on the bottom of the glass, finding lazy their way to the top.
Aroma of vegetables gone bad, some stale bread too. Not too offensive but you will not want to smell your beer more than maybe twice.
Malty, sweet taste at first, becomes slighty bitter on the aftertaste with a stale bread flavour, along with some hop character, but nothing to be excited about.
Thin on the body, low to medium carbonation.
Overall, not too bad, on a hot day it would be enjoyable I guess.

500ml can bought in some random shop in Walthamstow, London. Poured into two 'Veltins Pilsner' badged stemmed tulips on 1 Apr 2013.

Usual pilsner/lager look: golden, bright, clean and clear with a fading white head.

The aroma is semi-sweet grains, as is the taste. Wasn't expecting much from this but I quite enjoyed it. Refreshing and with a pleasing alcoholic bite to the hop bitterness and malty sweetness. Suited my sweet toothed idea of how a lager/pilsner should taste like.

Typical lager appearance. Good carbonation. Some lacing but not a high amount from this can.

Aroma is grainy and sweet. Smells natural, wholesome and inviting. No noble or herbal hop aromas.

Taste is very pleasant. East to drink but flavoursome. Grainy and hearty. More sweet than average for a pale lager. Definitely not a dry finish.

Mouthfeel is a very nice mineral water texture. Palate cleansing carbonation is present

Overall this is a good Polish lager. Lack of pasteurisation may account for a good level of fresh lager type taste. No adjuncts are used and this beer integrates well into a session involving bolder beer styles.

My mark out of one hundred would be 79.

It has a deep golden color, limpid and clean, with a beautiful white foam.
Quite banal smell, malt, a bit of hop, nothing interesting.
Not better at the taste, quite the same. Banal.
Maybe unpasteurized, but still useless.
Malty aftertaste, clean, biscuit hints.
