Served in a pilsner glass.

A: Pours a dark apple golden color, its is transparent and bubbly, has a 1/4 inch head soapy off white head that dissipates fast leaving minimal lacing.

S: Smells of wheat, grains, yeast, barley, apples

T: Sort of reminds me of apple juice, it's quite sweet. Can pick up on wheat, malts, yeast, apples, and hops

M: Medium bodied with a lot of carbonation, kind of a funky after taste going on here, a bit of hops but a bit of something else too

O: Overall this was interesting, but doesn't really take the cake for me, just another pale lager on my tally list, still that shouldn't discourage anyone from trying it.

(Served in a footed strange)
A- This beer has a clear slightly dense woody orange body with a racing carbonation of big bubbles supporting a white head of large rocky bubbles.

S- The cidery sweet brown malt aroma is a bit thin with some caramel hints coming through and a fresh malt and grain note aswell. Some Noble hop tartness pops through in the finish.

T- The watery, lagered sweet brown malt has a slight woody oxidation note and a tartness in the finish that turns more cidery as it opens.

M- The light mouthfeel has a scrubbing fizz that cuts the flavor in the finish and a well hidden alcohol heat.

O- There is no off flavors but the beer is pretty thin and watery in taste with a nice caramel note in the aromas. It is well lagered but the cidery flavor grows a bit to much for such a clean beer.

This is a peculiar can, because it says "canned by Staropolski brewery" on the front, there's no mention of Okocim (previous brewers of Zagloba Premium). I'm guessing Carlsberg sold the name/recipe to Staropolskie. The branding is completely different from Okocim's, no "Premium" on the label, but Mocne in big letters.

Poured this into a half-liter Weizen glass, and the head came about 1/2" short of the rim. Dull golden amber tone, with steady visible carbonation.

After a few minutes, the aroma opened up more, and it was primarily sweet malt, a hint of apple, and light alcohol too.

Malty flavors with a touch of apple from the yeast. Papery notes. Surprisingly, it finishes pretty clean, with an apple aftertaste lingering throughout. Carbonation gives it ample body, and it's fairly easy to drink despite a moderate sweetness.

This can was $.99, and it was pretty decent considering this is Poland's version of Malt Liquor.

500ml can, different form the one pictured, it seems like they are still brewing it, but not at Staropolski perhaps.

It is a golden amber with a sudsy, brief head.

The smell is tangy and alcoholic, some nuts too.

For a malt liquor, especially a dirt-ass cheapo polish one lik ethis, it tastes incredibly good. When drank cold it has notes of cinnamon, nuts, caramel, and alcoholic tang. It has some corniness int eh end but not too bad. Drink it cold.

Thanks again to my buddy Adam for helping me try new or hard to obtain Polish beers.

Pours a clear, light amber with pilsnery yellow highlights. Pours a two fingerhead after the pour. Eventually leaving aneven, thick foam over the beer, with very light lacing. Smells little like fruit medley from the can in elementary school. Light toasted malts with a light touch of alcohol and tin. The taste is a light wheat toast, very light syrup fruit medley, and some metal. The palate is wet, and a touch metallic. Not metallic, like overwhelming, just noticeable and takes away from the overall tasting experience of this beer.
