Last in my Scheldebrowerij series,
pours a light orange lomony straw color.
Foamy head, although a bit thin.
Smells of pepper, spices, alcohol, apricot, orange, lemon notes in the background. Somewhat reminescent of Duvel minus the huge yeasty character, but nice and balanced in its own right. Light bitterness on the finish.
Taste is quite good. Pepper, spice, orange, lemon, grain, coriander seed, white pepper. Light yet full in taste.
Mouthfeel is light, but easily on the full spectrum with fullness and balance in flavor.
Good to very good. A achievement of pepper/sweet/body/and balance. Nice brew from a brewery that I have really enjoyed and will continue to/

Looks a bit depressed, hazy and dull. Yeasty dryness, lightly bitter. Orange, apples and citrus in the flavour, the overall mouthfeel is quite dry. It was easy enough and pleasant to drink, but i was expecting a little more, nice session beer though, not bad.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of Saaz and Hallertau hops is dominating and providing some light floral and dry notes. Taste is a mix between some dry and lightly bitter notes of European hops with a semi-sweet Belgian-style malt profile. Fuller body then the average beer with good carbonation. While this is a well crafted beer with some refreshing notes I thought it was slightly too dry.

Traditional beer, ... Strandgaper, named after a sort of shellfish that lives in Lowlands' coast waters.
Label says this beer goes well with a shellfish plate.
I'm having it with some chicken on toast though...
(I can't wait to go on hollidays again).
Golden ale with a soapy head, good carbonation, good lacing.
Mild smell and taste. Malts, hops, yeast, spice, herbs.
Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth, with a spice bite. Dry finish.
All in all, a nice ale. Complex yet mild and easy. Goes well with food indeed.

This beer pours an orange golden color with a very small head and some yeast flakes.
Smell is sweet and has hints of honey and peach, probably from the light caramalt that has be used. The beer smells very full-bodied and slightly yeasty.
Taste of honey, slightly sweet yet sticky. The bitterness really complements the sweetness. The light caramalts give the beer a medium body and fullness. Aftertaste is dry and bitterness is short.

Bought in the Bierparadijs in Meer Belgium. Poured into a La Chouffe Tulip glass.
L: thick white head with coarse bubbles, murky orange brown body with big suspended particles
S: fruity, yeast, some hops, pears, ammoniak
T: very well balanced, moderate sweet, sour and bitter
F: medium to high carbonation, refreshing, medium burpiness
O: very drinkable, a typical blond. not strong in taste but definitely not watery as well. great on a warm day outside.

BB 03-07. Litle head and a amberbrown beercolor with white haze and big flocks floating. Nose is very candy sugar like, sour cherry and blackcurrant aswell as somecaramellic malts. Taste is dry and very alcoholic and with that flat. Hard to tell that they used hops for this and overall alcoholwater mouthfeel dominates. Drinkable brew but IMO litle boring.

White gold with lumpy snow white head that fades fast. Flowers, wax an banana esters on the nose.
Yellow apple with Chardonnay notes and some Banoffi, a clove hit, and an herbal hops end.
Perfumed comeback and long prickly linger. Light, crisp, oily, lots of fizz.
Light, very estery, and probably too lively; but refreshing and enough to hold the interest. Label says it's a food beer, that might be the thing to boost this. Workable and well structured.

BB 12/2013. Pours a really big, fluffy white head, which recedes slowly leaving plentiful lacing and film. Colour is light straw gold, with an active carbonation.
Aroma has plentiful sour maltiness, also grass notes. Lot of slight citiric fruitiness, green apple, grapefruit.
Taste has plenty of the same bitter fruit character. Grapefruit, but plenty of lighter character complimenting. Malts provide a good background, hops are pretty light but help give the beer a nice bitterness. Flavour is quite complex, though could be better balanced probably in terms of the intensity of bitter fruit character. Finish has a bit of a caramel note.
Mouthfeel is relatively full, carbonation gives a nice crispness and the beer has a very pleasing character, quite refreshing. Aftertaste is pretty crisp, full, slightly mineral.
Well-executed. Flavourful, refreshing and crisp. I'd have it again for sure, and recommend trying this one.
