330 ml bottle, poured into my tulip glass. ABV 7%
Looks really nice with its deep orange golden colour and the tall, snow white soapy head. Good retention on the foam and quite a lace left around the glass.
On the aroma malts, a bit of alcohol and sugars that actually give it a nice honey-like aroma.
Taste is fruity, with peach notes, some vanilla too, and very light alcohol. Quite sweet, becomes very faintly bitter on the aftertaste.
Medium thickness on the body, average carbonation.
Overall, a good session beer, I expected it to be more bitter for some reason, but it was enjoyable nevertheless.

On tap at Birch & Barley/Churchkey, Washington, D.C.:

The beer appeared a cloudy darker yellow color; perhaps it has hints of orange. Also, a there was a visible amount of carbonation rising to the top of the glass. The beer also had a nice thin cap throughout the entire beer.

The aroma consisted of pale malted barley and a spicy hop.

The taste of the beer was very much like the nose. A strong wheat malt with some nice spices and a light hop bitterness.

The beer had a moderate feel to it, high carbonation and a nice dry finish. Overall, this is a very drinkable beer as the alcohol was well hidden.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy beige/golden color ale with a huge foamy head with great retention and some good lacing. Aroma of dry Saaz hops with some typical medium sweet Belgian malt. Taste is also a well balance mix between some dry Saaz with some bitterness and some medium sweet Belgian malt. Great carbonation with full body due to medium filtration. Enjoyable but nothing earth shattering in here.

Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a light to medium yellow-orange amber. Massive fine white head with good retention, looks nice. Aroma of light fruit, sweet malt and a hint of hops. Flavor of sweet light fruit and fruit esters, light sweet malt. Finishes with light hop bitterness and ultimately fairly dry with lingering light fruit esters. An unusual flavor progression from sweet to dry, which I enjoyed. Medium bodied with a hint of creaminess from the carbonation. A very nice Belgian pale ale.

Very traditional Lowlands brew. Lamme Goedzak meaning the Bourgondiër, one who loves good food and ale, from an old story.

Golden honey colour, thin head, but good carbonation and lacing.

Smell and taste are full malty, with some hoppyness, spice.
Mouthfeel is smooth but refreshing from high carbonation. Sharp bitterness in the aftertaste.
The alcohol is more present than I expected. It gives a warming character to the ale.

Not a bad brew at all. Robust and demanding.

A: The beer is cloudy pale yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high white head that died down but never completely faded away.
S: There are aromas of pale malts and floral and spicy hops in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste has flavors of pale and wheat malts along with spices; there is a light amount of accompanying bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a high amount of carbonation with some dryness in the finish.
O: The beer is quite drinkable for its strength because the alcohol is well hidden from the taste.

I had a 750 ml bottle which was almost at the end of it's due date and this might have caused the slight oxidized smell and taste.

It pours an orange murky colour, with a small head and lots of carbonation.
Smell was grassy and straw, some fruitiness. There was some oxidation, which gave it a slight cardboard smell.
Taste was medium bitter, no hop aroma's, some ginger or in general fruity and finished dry.
Again the age of the beer could be tasted, I have had fresh bottles before and they had basically the same taste. A pretty straight forward blond/tripel.

Clear golden, fine white foam
Smells of sweet belgian pale malts, fruitiness and a hint of acetic acid (probably from the tab line)
Sweet malt, peppery belgium yeast phenols, dry
Body and carbonation give a substantial but refreshing feel
Good almost great blonde.

Poured without the residue from the yeast at the bottom of the bottle. Still quite hazy. Good starting head that settles slowly. Leaves some streaks of lace on the glass. Golden color.

Fresh pale malt with a notable Belgian yeast bite. Light hop in the background.

Starts off innocently mild--typical pale malt start. The swallow gets a bit of sourness, but not nearly as much as most Belgians. The alcohol is muted. Full body and highly carbonated.

A: Poured from a bottle to a tulip glass. Had a brownish-orange color and a cloudy texture. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Below average lacing.

S: An alright aroma of malt, yeast, and some fruit.

T: Tasted of malt (a lot more malt than you'd expect from the style), some light fruit phenols, and yeast. Not a watery or thin flavor, but definitely bland a one dimensional one. Kind of uninteresting.

M: A well-carbonated beer with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.

O: This is basically a forgettable beer. Not without its good points, but there are better examples of the style.

This brewery used to be Dutch, just so you know...

A hazy beer that holds the middle between golden and amber. Rather big yeast particles and the head, about two fingers. Quicky settles down to one finger. Nice foam though.

Wheat. I did not expect that. Some wiezen aroma's in here even though this contain only barley malt and cara 20 malt. (So atleast 2 types of barley malts) but no wheat.

A bready doughiness, citrus peel, green apple (tart, light fruits) and some mild spice.

The taste is very nice but not as complex as I expected. More of the same, some bread, some spice and a medium bitterness coming from the hops. The fruitiness is very light

The mouthfeel is fine. Medium body, medium carbonation.

Overall a solid beer, could use some a bit more fruitiness if you ask me. EDIT:
As it sits in the glass it grows more on me, the subtle hints from the hops and such. Quite nice. Quite drinkable also, half a mark extra on taste.

It purs a deep golden colour, a lot of bubbles but not much head, and it fades soon leaving no lace. Aroma of cake, apples, nuts, vanilla, cardamome, chocolate.
Taste of cake, vanilla, fruits, figs, dates, complex. It's very thick, you can almost bite it.

Poured from 330mL bottle into a tulip.

Appearance: light gold hue with plenty of haziness and effervescence. Head pours three towering fingers of pillowy ivory foam. Head has great retention and big chunks of foamy lace are left on the glass. Great!

Smell: very good, rich malt aroma. There's not a lot of complexity, but the aroma is pretty strong and just seems well-crafted.

Taste: more fruity complexity exists in the flavor than in the aroma. Starts off with a pear-heavy orchard flavor which then fades into the rich malt of the aroma. Somewhat simple, but quite nice.

Mouthfeel: big carbonation wedded to a moderate amount of body gives this beer a big but somewhat evanescent creaminess. Just a touch more body would do wonders here.

Overall: this beer is simply a joy to drink. When put together, its qualities make it simply delicious. My only qualm is that this might be misclassified as a "strong" pale ale, but that's hardly the brewer's fault.

From a trade with Absumaster

Pours a golden-yellow with a one-inch white head. From the nose I assumed this was a witbier, perhaps I am wrong given the style here.

On top of the typical semi-sweet wheat malt smell, there is a notably bitter hop odor. Unusual in a witbier to see this much hop character, or of this type.

Taste is unusually bitter, once again the slightly-sweet wheat taste seems secondary to hops here, with the bitter hop taste providing the main element of the taste, and making a very nice balance to the wheat elements. The combination is very enjoyable, this is a very drinkable beer.

Reading other reviews, it is possible that I am completely off base and this beer has no wheat in it at all.
