Beer is golden in color. Nice white head on top of it. A lots of bubbles coming out of this one. Fruity in the aroma. Some spices too and floral. In the mouth, the beer is very fruity with a dry finish. The bitterness is light. Very dry in the finish.

Medium body. The head is very sticky. A good one.

330ml bottle served in a Belgian snifter. Some sediment added in the pour; some remained in the bottle.

A: cloudy apricot with a good, and very durable head.

The aroma is a little malty for style, but not so much as to prepare me for the very malty flavor. Still, fruity, complex, lightly spicy and with good balance (if you don't mind a strong caramel component).
Lingering baked bread, spices and fruits in the finish and aftertaste.

O: recommended.

Hoppy-side triple, with curacao orange citrus middle, and good bitterness in the finish. Multi aromas of yeast and citrus as well. Very smooth. Foaming head. Alcohol not detected over taste.Good carbonation.
Thanks Probst, via the Beerophilie buying club.

Semicloudy, big column of carbonation up the center, but not much of a head. Light orangy gold. Thick sandorn smell. Not the strongest flavor, but primarily sour, with a semi bland sandorn underneath. Somewhat resembles a witbier. No sweetness. Sour tang, and somewhat drying. Decent, but relatively bland and uninteresting.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy beige color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light coriander and Belgian malt is quite good. Taste is a nice mix between some spices which probably includes coriander with some Belgian malt with some light funky ester at the end. Full body with limited filtration and some great carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Well done overall and another nice beer form this solid brewery.

Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass. Love the pinching crab on the label, already a fan.

A good white head, with some retention, sits on a dull orange and brown amber body, with good rising white pinhead carbonation. Nor much lacing at all. Pretty solid looking brew.

Wonderful nose on this beer. A real impressive dry ripping barley with a big dense malt and hidden sweetness. Nutty with a hint of orange fruit it seems. Great smelling beer!

Light bodied with some density but a very neutral palate. Light malts roll around briefly on first sip, then the swallow brings a lot of wetness with some drying action. Fruit character doesn't come through, but luckily not much for booze either. Juicy texture comes through a bit as it warms up, and some orange character does appear.

Overall in short I was expecting more from the nose, and as good as the beer is, it's a little bit of a letdown. Still things could be worse.

Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a cloudy light to medium yellow orange amber with lots of white particles floating amongst healthy carbonation. Three finger coarse white head that faded rather quickly, leaving decent lacing. Nice aroma of mixed fruit; orange, apricot, peach, sweet malt. A hint of vanilla, slight floral elements. Taste follows aroma with light fruit, a bit of citrus, vanilla, sweet and carmel malt, slight hops. Finishes a bit dry, but pleasant. Light to medium bodied with very pleasant carbonation sensation. A nice tripel. I will check out the other ales from this brewery. I slightly upgraded the score on this 1/6/2012 from another bottle. Floral flavors improve the dry finish in this bottle, I really liked this one a lot.

Zeezuiper, craft brew from Netherlands, translates something like 'nautical -, or 'maritime, drunkard'.
Nature beer, unpasteurized, unfiltered, bottle conditioned.

Golden ale , not too hazy, good carbonation, thin but creamy head, that holds up ok, looking at the creamy lacing in my glass.

Smell is delicious with malts, fresh hoppiness and other earthy green garden herby smells. It doesn't jump out of the glass, but it's very delicate.
Taste is similar. Sweet malty, but not as malty as the label led me to believe. The hops remind of a good IPA.
Bittersweet aftertaste.

Smooth, refreshing. Carbonation is really there.

This is a real good ale. I could find myself buying some more of these for sure.
Recommended.

A: The beer is cloudy golden yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation with yeast particles floating in suspension. It poured with a two finger high white head that has good retention properties and consistently left a thin head covering the surface.
S: There are light to moderate aromas of floral hops and spices in the nose.
T: Like the smell, spicy flavors of coriander stand out in the overall taste, although these aren’t that strong. There are also notes of fruit and yeast.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate with a moderate to high amount of carbonation and a slight amount of dryness.
O: Nothing unique really stands out about this beer, but it’s quite easy to drink, especially since the alcohol is well hidden from the taste.

Sunday 16 Dec 2012: Antwerp Gollem. 33cl glass from the tap.

Golden yellow body, almost clear, on top a white, full head. Mild citrus feel to the aroma, some yeast and semi-sweet maltiness added to the smells.

The taste was biscuit malty with a hint of citrus fruit filling. Not as exciting as I hoped for: not bland, but not far off. Hid the alcohol well enough, so there must have been something flavoursome in there!

Not a great start to my evenings drinking, but it did make the next beer taste great (a John Martin Diabolici).

Drank from my Duvel tulip.

A - Pours a hazey straw colour with a large tight white head that retains well.

S - Plenty of vanilla malts and citrus.

T - Plenty of spice and hops with a little vanilla and spice. Very well balanced beer.

M - Medium body and carbonation that makes for a very nice drop.

D - This beer is a great example of a Tripel, i'm not sure why its classified as a strong pale ale.

I had this on tap at Moeder Lambic Fontinas

Appearance: Pours a Clear golden color with a finger of fluffy white head that leaves a thick ring around the glass and some lacing.

Smell: Sweet malt, Belgian spice, some alcohol, light but not bitter citrus

Taste: Mild Belgian spice with light malt, not too sweet, slight bitterness in finish, some booze

Mouthfeel: Medium body with fluffy carbonation and a finish that is a bit dry.

Nice beer, easy drinking, light given abv, I would have it again.

This beer pours a very clear, orange color with a small head and easy-going bubbles.

Smell is coriander, orange peel which make the beer very aromatic and spicy. Some malty honey, which comes from the ambermalt.

Taste is sweet and definatelly coriander and what tastes like cardemom, but is not mentioned on the label. This must be the combination with the orangepeel, that make the beer so aromatic and citric. I feel that this is a bit over the top. Some honey notes from the amber malt. The bitterness is a little sharp in the back of my throat. The beer is somewhat sticky and body is medium, which should be a little bit less in a triple.

This beer is overpowered by the spices used and becomes less drinkable IMO.
