Observed to be a deep, hazy saddle color with noticeable sediment. very minimal head and minimal carbonation as well. I got this beer in a pizza shop in PA so I am speculating that perhaps it has been on the shelf quite a while. it had a raisin and fig aroma not unlike a bock beer. i thought this would be hoppier. Upon tasting, there were additional tart and floral undertones. It was very malty. I wonder if the hops faded due to age... Still a good beer, just not what I expected.
