Paid $8.99 for a mixed 6'er at Wild Oats...
The beer pours a clear amber colored base, moderate white head, excellent head retention for the 45 minutes, and excellent lacing effects throughout the beer's session. In the aroma I noticed two noticeable scents; floral hops and fruity apricot, a little subtle.
The taste is very thick, full bodied, moderate to heavy carbonation and has an easy-going hop and mild malt aftertaste post-delivery; it feels complete yet basic at the same time. Excellent in the mouth with the creamy head and at 6.1% abv is an ideal slow session beer.
Final Thought: This is a great red ale with no complexity.
