On-tap at Heroe's last night after a crazy time near the beach, on to the beer:
Blonde in color, but cloudier than other IPA's I've had so far, it leaves good lacing along the glass as it's consumed. The smell was hoppy with some tropical fruit (oh geez, what a surprise!). Nice pleasing fruity, citrusy, and hoppy flavors run around on the taste buds, and not overpowering bitter. Delightful! I might revisit it, but there are so many good IPA's out there. But nonetheless, give this one a try.

The Big Daddy IPA is a tasty IPA worth an afternoon drink. I purchased this beer in a pounder and decanted it into a pint glass. The beer looks good with a large frothy head and a light yellow color. Lace foam clings to the beer glass after drinking.
The taste is smooth drinkable India Pale Ale. Citrus funk and pine cone are the initial flavor and then a little bitterness lingers. It could almost be a pale ale in appearance and taste, but there is a fair amount of hops in there -- it is just very smooth. Very enjoyable beer.
