Poured a rather clearigh or light amber red with two-finger head that died quick and left minimal lace. A basic citrusy and piney hop aroma along with barebones sweet caramel malt. Taste is more of the same; light, low-key, hoppy and sweet with a good balance. A good beer but not great as the citric hops are minimal and there's not much else flavorwise, nor do the malts really stand out either.

A clouded bright amber, a firm off-white head, good lacing and some curtains.

Smelling citric and floral, grape-fruit, pine-resin and honey.

Starting sweet, with toffee, grape-fruit, lemon peel and bitter nettles.

Light carbonation, small foamy bubbles, soft and oily, a good body with a smooth dry finish.

Well balanced, well done.

12 oz bottle was poured into a tulip glass.

Appearance: This beer is a godlen straw yello with a slightly hazy clarity. There are signs of carbonation coming up through the glass and the small head has reduced and left some lacing on the glass.

Smell: nice and citrusy folks, a little alcohol, and sweet caramel and bready malts too.

Taste: the crystal and bready malts take over and somewhat balance out with the citrus and tangerine notes. Bitterness is noticeable up front too.

Mouthfeel: smooth, delicious, medium carbonation, medium bodied, and easy to drink.

Overall: Not a shabby IPA from the west coast. I have had this beer and I am happy to have once laid my hands on another bottle. Will be enjoying more of these in the future.
