Bottle poured into a Speakeasy pint glass

A: Pours deep amber with a frothy off white head that settles and laces well.

S: Sweet caramel malt, some grapefruit, and some light fruity notes.

T: Citrus hops, grapefruit stands out, also some orange, a little pine, a bit herbal, with nice caramel malt sweetness.

M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.

O: Maybe not super special, but a solid brew none the less.

Amber color with a thick head that does not go away and leave good laces.
Sweet and nice aroma with lots of pineapple juice with mint and passion fruit.
Flavor with notes of grapefruits, American yeast, spices, pine, herbal, caramels and peaches. Quite dry and bitter aftertaste that lasts for a long time.
Full body with appropriate carbonation. A bit sticky. Alcohol of 8.5% abv is well concealed.
Very flavorful DIPA, it seems a bit under rated, though I am drinking it on tap and it is fresh. Still, as several DIPAs, I would cut down its body. I know... the style, still...
