This was the second brew I tried at the Speakeasy open house.
It poured an amber caramel hue with a tight, creamy foam topping.
I found a similar hop profile to the Vendetta as to their wet hopped Toronado 25th Anniversary DIPA—more of a pronounced bitterness and a defined caramelly maltiness, along with a catty aroma and oniony flavor which comes through. I get some pine, some resin, a light onion, a taste of garlic, some caramel sweetness and a dry finish. Not much aromatic hopping, it’s all in the bittering. Not really a big fan of this one.

A-Pours amber with some haze. Head is pretty thick. It retains well. Leaves chunks of lace.
S-Aroma is pleasantly fruity in its hoppiness. Label says its Citra and Amarillo- yeah I can grasp that pretty easily, it's straightforward and the nose isn't really aggressive but it brings out the crucial aspects of the hops. Tropical, lightly floral, citrusy and grassy.
T-The flavor is a mirror image of the aroma. It's got all the tasty aspects you want in this hop combination. Citrus, bright tropical fruit, grass, and so forth. Malt is caramel and pale and well balanced.
M-Sneaky bitterness. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Status quo through and through.
O-I liked this beer a lot. It managed to strike a chord with me, which can be very rare with the IPA style.
