Vendetta IPA is the taste of sweet revenge. Aggressively bitter with a cutthroat convergence of Citra and Amarillo hops, this Vendetta won't soon be forgotten.

Pours a rather dark amber color with a sticky off-white head. Sweet toffee malt, bread, and a bit of toffee. Some grass, light citrus peel, and some resinous pine. A hint of caramel and some faint tropical aromas. The flavor is fairly sweet, caramel and toffee malt. There are some okay hop flavors, mostly citrus peel, floral, and a light pine. Some strong bitterness, which lingers on the finish. (398 characters)

22oz brown bomber with no freshness date.

One of the best looking heads this year, trail of lacing is awesome to track as well. Nearly clear pale amber color. Hoppy aroma of tangerine zest, fresh grass and hemp seeds ... hint of biscuity grain as well. Semi-pungent pulling hop bitterness, fresh graininess with undertones of biscuity grain. Yeast, ripe apples, melon rind, tangerine pith, powdered aspirin and some warmth. A lot going on but still drinkable. Hoppy finish that ends dry.

This is a big IPA ... not too far off from being a DIPA. A whole lot of fun to drink, very "West Coast". (594 characters)

Growler filled at DeCicco's in Ardsley, NY.

Pours darker amber, and murky. Medium tan head, stays for a bit, then going to a very tiny bubble film and all sorts of high, fine and coating sheeting and lace.

Piney hop and grapefruit nose.

Resin and pine infused hoppy brew. I also get some slight grapefruit character, some smoky peat and maybe a bit of chocolate malt.

Tasty and complex APA, worth a try. Glad to able to enjoy this one via a fresh growler pour (464 characters)

A: Nothing too special, aside from the head upon pour. Crystal clear amber, a darker looking IPA, with a very substantial puffy white head. As it settles the head becomes less attractive - spotty lacing, uneven retention.

S: Not very pungent - takes a big swirl and the nose all the way in the glass to get the aroma. Really nice hop pairing. Some tropical fruit astringency in mango and pineapple, resinous grass and some pine, bitter grapefruit rind. Also getting some pilsner malt.

T: Really nice. Not incredibly bitter, very balanced. Getting a lot more malt than the nose predicted and less fruit astringency. Decently resinous and grassy. Very tasty.

P: Medium bodied, a little low on carbonation. Finishes dry.

O: Really enjoyable IPA at a reasonable price. Not aggressively cirtra and amarillo, but a nice balanced combo. However, I did not have the freshest bottle. (879 characters)

I'm writing this while wearing a Guy Fawkes mask, so please excuse any failed plotting...

A fantastic pour that is slightly darker than expected, with a thick, tan/beige head on its shoulders. Visually inciting my desire to get it in my mouth pronto...

A bright yet bitter front end with a flowery finish, nicely balanced with a medium carbonation. There is no revolt here. Sure it occupies the taste buds, but only for an appropriate amount of time.

This is a fantastic and drinkable beer. You might not write home about it, but you'll definitely have another while thinking about how long it's been since you last wrote home. Another fine offering from Speakeasy. (668 characters)

A - Pours amber with thin bubbles floating to the surface. Sticky webs of lacing around the glass. Foam is tan and retains well.

S - Scents of pine resin, Sweet tangy citrus, and a gentle hoppy aroma.

T - Good drinking IPA. Citrusy sweet and a hoppy bite that hits the back of the tongue.

M - Great balance for the style. Raspy bite is not overbearing. Medium body.

O - Just a good deomestiv IPA that is easy drinking. Not necessarily one to seek out, but certainly a beer that most will enjoy. (500 characters)

The Vendetta IPA from Speakeasy is Goood! The beer poured a hazy orangish with foamy white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent carried a nice pine hop with subtle citrus flare. The taste was a very well balance between the bitterness of the hops and sweet malt. Toward the end...the bitterness prevails....but that is what makes it good. The pine and slight citrus are present throughout. The mouthfeel is medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall this is a nice beer...would want more on the nose tho. (516 characters)

Super tasty shocker beer from the back of the fridge. I bought it on a whim and I feel I lucked out. It is pleasantly crisp with a nice citra after taste. It's my first beer from Speakeasy and definitely not my last. I'll be honest...limited addition sold...it was well worth it.... (282 characters)
