Appearance - Pours a clear, pure golden color with a rocky 3 finger head. Good retention, resulting in a broken layer of bubbled film across the surface. Fair lacing and stick.

Smell - A balanced aroma of caramel malt and earthy, floral hops. Hints of citrus and stone fruit with traces of dry pine.

Taste - Follows the nose. Balance is a slight edge to the hops, though the caramel malt body is, by no means, a small part of the flavor profile. Hops are present throughout, and are more earthy and stone fruit-ish than grassy in character, while a touch of orange oil bitterness can be found lying beneath. Nice balance in the finish, though the quicker it's drank, the stronger the hops flex their muscle.

Mouthfeel - Medium in body with moderate, somewhat lively carbonation. Finishes bone dry.

Overall - A little dry for my liking, but this is a solid pale in all facets. I'd liken it to their Big Daddy IPA, but with more balance and a much drier finish. One I'd likely buy again if desire calls for pale and better options aren't available.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle/ Has a dark golden/orange color with a 1 inch head. Smell has a good bit of tropical fruits, truth in advertising. Taste is hops, some tropical fruits, a bit of pine, not much malts. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a mason jar glass.

A - light amber, dark golden appearance with a beautiful 1.5 finger head consisting of various sized bubbles.

S - very faint smell of pine forest, grapefruit and lemongrass.

T - earthy, grassy malt, pine, grapefruit zest, light citrus-honey taste.

M - Very refreshing, light-medium body with moderate to high carbonation and semi-dry after taste. Hoppiness quite apparent.

O - Very refreshing beer for hot summer days. Right now, enjoying while kicking back in the shade by the swimming pool. Will definitely buy and have other try in the near future. Feels like this will be great beer for a summertime party.

Poured from the bottle into a nonic pint glass. A bit old but none for a loss bottled March 18th 2013.

Really pretty beer. Crystal clear body with a real nice brassy copper sheen to it somewhere between light bronze yellow and copper red, with nice rising carbonation. Big fluffy four finger head off the pour with some retention and lacing present and a soapy collar. Good looker.

Mellow tangerine hop notes on the nose, with a soft graham cracker pie crust malt backbone. Hints of orange and some tropical fruit. Pretty nice and solid if a little mellow.

Palate hits with a good amount of mild resin. Light tropical fruit with an easy drinking mouthfeel, and mid palate has a nice mix of minty wintergreen hop and citrus. Leafy and spearmint finish, with a mellow bitterness and sweetness hop angle. Malt presence is a bit burried for a pale ale though.

Overall it's a bit faded hops but it still drinks well. Hope they make this again so I can drink it fresh next time.

A: The beer is crystal clear golden yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a thin off white head that quickly died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of peaches and tropical fruits are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and also has notes of caramel malts and a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer started out with a nice aroma of hops but seemed to be a lot maltier compared to other beers in the style and doesn't have much in the way of bitterness.
