The Cork 'N Bottle is a fairly nice store that sells many kinds of fine beer. The have many singles of micros and imports in the cooler, as well as 6 packs and big bottles. They had a great selection of English beer, an alright selection of Belgian stuff, and a good selection of German beer. The prices are fair also. They seem to keep everything well rotated, which is nice. You can even find some rare treats here as well. I found a couple of Samichlaus 2000 vintage for a good price. The service is very nice, and the staff is friendly and quite knowledgable. A nice place to try right off the interstate just right across the river from Cincinnati.

there are two locations in my area, this is the location where i do my rounds at. this place is kind of hidden, but can be seen on the high way. friendly and knowledgeable help, always asking if i hae had or have tried new releases. they never hoard or save bottles which can be good or bad. they also have vintages sitting on the clearance rack which i have taken advantage of several times lading, 08.09 vertical epics, 09 WWS, 08 choc yetis, just to names a few, i always go straight to the clearance racks. although it has some gems, it lacks variety. same breweries all the time. one can get a little bored

its one of my go to's

A solid selection of beers. Okay pricing on the beer... better on growler fills. A small tap selection (4 I think). With some fairly unique and hard to find things from time to time. The bottle selection is decent. No single bottles but they get lots of rare and unique stuff. If you ask the right person you can reserve things as well. Plenty of kegs and the ability to order things. Overall, the customer service is subpar but every once and a while I get luck here. Worth a stop if you're around but not worth driving far out of your way

EDIT: new beer buyer's policy is to jack up prices on special beers and hold things for ransom. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS STORE

Visited while visiting this fair city!

Had read the beerfly beforehand, and knew of this locations history. However my lack of a car only allowed me to visit this location.

Overall, not a bad location! A descent selection of beer. Plenty of six/four packs of beer. Not stored in UV protected light, but the freshness that I saw probably negated any long term storage issues.

The usual finds:

Stone
Breckenridge
Sierra Nevada
etc...

Locals included:

Schafly
Great Lakes
Goose Island
New Holland
3Floyd's
many others....

Also had Growler fills with 4 taps that included a Schafly beer a 3 others... $2.50 for the actual growler and the beer was decently priced with a 64 oz. fill.

Had an opportunity to buy many, but had to respect the room I had! Will definitely visit this place even if I have better transportation when I return next time!

Almost all of the beer is in a cooler including all the case type beer, so temperature is not an issue!

A little hard to find; passed it many times going to Party Source and finally decided to stop in. Easy to see from the highway, another story to get there. Small parking lot on a hill but that's not a real problem.
Upon entering we were asked at least twice if we needed any help. Obvious they have customer service in mind. Wandered to the beer coolers where they have the usual Stone, Schalfly, BBC, nothing really outstanding. Except for 2 four packs of KBS! Score! This is more of a wine/liquor store. We asked the clerks about Big Eddy Stout...never heard of it. Oskar Blues....never heard of it. Staff seems very knowledgable about spirits, just not beer.
I've never been treated so politely in a store before.
Prices seemed on par with other retailers in the area. Ended up buying the KBS and 2 bottles of bourbon. I'll visit again.

Visited this place today to see what they have in stock currently. I have been here a couple times before and each time I get friendly, prompt service. To be honest, I wasn't too impressed with the first associates beer knowledge, but he mentioned he just started there. I ran into a super friendly, knowledgeable distributor who actually recommended I visis Cork n' Bottle's Buttermilk Pike location.

Don't get me wrong, the employees are happy to talk beer with you and recommend their beers, point out new seasonals, etc. They have a guess-timated 150 American brews and about 100+ import beers, some singles, including many Belgians and German beers. American beer include:
* Stone
* Schlafly
* Avery
* Dogfish Head
* Arcadia
* Shiner
* Bell's
* Great Lakes
* Rogue
* Brooklyn
* BBC

Prices are better than most specialty beer stores' prices in Cincinnati. The store is always clean, as well. I'd recommend this and Party Source if you are looking for a place that sells good beer in Northern Kentucky. Worth checking out if you get the time!

When I'm in this part of town, it's usually to visit Party Source in Newport (which I consider CandyLand for drunks).

The Dogfish shipment of Burton Baton was in Ohio so I figured I'd pick up a couple more 4 packs here. They didn't have it but I stumbled across two cases of Hopslam ($12.99 per six) in the walk-in frige. This was in late March so right away I knew they didn't get a whole lot of craft beer traffic.

Their selection is below average. Nothing jumped out at me but Cork and Bottle would work if you were in a pinch and couldn't make the 5 minute detour over to Party Source.

They had a lot of people working but nobody was interested in chatting me up. I even got a funny reaction from the cashier when a case of Hopslam rang up over $50.

It's worth mentioning that they support the local public radio station (89.7 WNKU) so if you're looking for standard fare, you may consider supporting them.
