A 500ml bottle with a BB date of Oct 2010 - so it's a couple of months out of date. Picked this up at my local off-licence for a song. It comes in an unusual brown bottle with the brewery's emblem embossed onto the glass and a foil neck label.
Poured into a Guinness pint glass. A faintly hazy pale golden colour with fine carbonation. A small white head that subsides after a few minutes. Looks pretty good for a lager. Aroma of light malt with slight sweetness. A distinct bready note, and hints of candied fruit or essential fruit oils (?).
Tastes light and clean. Pale malt with a gentle bitterness to give balance, and a dry finish. Notes of bread. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel - especially as it warms. Feels more substantial than a typical lager. Faint malty aftertaste.
A good lager - goes down rather nicely. The creaminess is unusual but pleasing. I imagine it would be refreshing in warmer weather - worth trying if you come across it.

Brown, interesting bottle, holding 50cl of beer. This was one of a host of lagers I had during a blind tasting evening.
Pale yellow, golden colour, bright and clean looking, the pure white head fell away to leave just a wisp very quickly.
Very little aroma, gets my standard 3 score for a non smelling lager/pilsner.
Tasteless and bland, not impressed at all.
Watery and boring, metalic and nasty feel to it.
Not a beer I'll be braking my neck to find again.

Appearance: Saku Kuld pours a darker shade of golden yellow along with a massive, frothy white crown which remains for quite some time. Small amount of bubbles visible.
Smell: Perhaps a light touch of yeast, a pretty mild character some malt may be traced in the background. As stated below this is a pretty anonymous smell, indeed.
Taste: A sweet and rice-like notes along with a fruitier side but as with all the other sensory categories, it's nothing of noteworthy attention.
Mouthfeel: The carbonation is mild, the consistency is rather sweet and round, but all too watery...
Drinkability: It's not bad, but man oh man is it ever so bland. It wont disappoint if anonymity is what your after. In short: more of EVERYTHING!

According to the label, this beer is brewed with Hallertau hops.
The colour is straw yellow; the large yellowish head is compact with a fine crater.
The smell is mild. Some sweet notes, flowery hints. Clean.
The taste is mild and smooth, in fact pleasant. Mild notes of flowers, some sweet malt, hints of bread rolls. There is a very gentle bitterness with hints of matured apples, pineapples and lettuce. The aftertaste is mild and balanced with a clean sweetness, almost no bitterness and a hint of minerals.
The carbonation is mild to medium; small fresh bubbles. The liquid is mid-smooth.
A very drinkable and clean euro lager, perfect for those warm summer evenings at the balcony. I cen see that many people dismisses this lager as "tastless" or "as weak as American adjunct crap". But I have tasted so many beers in the same style that are undrinkable, and this one is really that much better.

A - The color is a darker yellow ... not pale, but maybe the smallest hint of red depending on the lighting.
S - No real discernible smell. I think I might have caught hints of rice or barley, but nothing was really there
T - Nothing to write home about. Tastes very similar to a bud, but more smooth. Hints of honey, but its very passing.
M - Very smooth texture has fairly high carbonation.
D - Not an amazing beer. I'd rather drink this than most basic lagers, but then again I'd rather not drink basic lagers.
It's hard to really give this a fair review because I'm just not a pale lager fan. It's not bad for what it is, and if I wanted a lager I would prefer Kuld over most other choices.

A: This beer is light-coloured (the same colour as straw), with a white head that quickly dissipates.
S: There is definitely bitter hops, but also some citrus. Some malt is also noticable.
T: This tastes like bread, the malt is very prominent. Some hops and banana can also be traced.
The aftertaste is sadly very short.
M: Thin, but als a little bit creamy.
D: This is a plain beer. If you're into adjunct lagers I think this may be right up your alley. This goes down smoothly on a warm summer day, but otherwise this isn't my cup of tea.
