Clean amber in color, with a nice head of tan foam. Attractive and detailed lace.

Nose is biscuit, honey, and yeast. Seems sweet.

Tastes malty but fairly well-balanced, with a touch of hops at the finish. Not bad at all, and a solid representative of a well-done amber ale.

Jumping Cow Amber Ale has a very thick, beige head, a clear, bubbly, amber appearance, and heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of tannic, sweet, brown bread crust, and the taste is of those elements, with pleasant, appropriately bitter hops and even a mildy citric aspect. The mouthfeel is medium and slick, and Jumping Cow Amber Ale finishes semi-dry, easy-drinking, and refreshing.

Appearance: A brown/toffee color. A tan and creamy head. Decent retention and some spotter lacing.

Nose: carmel malt with a hint of dark fruit. A very little bit of tropical fruit, like pineapple at the very end.

Taste: Butterscotch, tobacco, and toffee. Clean malty background.

Notes: It was a good price, but nothing special is happening here. Had this the night I made a time capsule under a drinking fountain....so that's kind of fun.

Dark amber body topped by a thin off white head. Clear and appropriately amber-y. Smells like garbage pile, boiled cabbage, burnt crystal malts, dark fruit. Palate features notes of boiled vegetables, metallic dumpster water and slightly astringent crystal malt. Medium-bodied, metallic finish. Hard to choke down.

Jumping cow pours a dark reddish color with a very small head. There is a rich, and strangely spiced aroma. The taste is the same, a crisp malt backbone, with a strange spicy flavor. Decent body, and strength in flavors. Overall its a very average beer, some unique spiciness.

Dark copper in color with little head to speak of.

Nice caramel malt aroma up front with just a bit of fruity aroma.

Some tobacco and slight toffee notes with a touch of butterscotch. Nice malty character throughout and this is clearly malt forward. The hops are present but aren't showcased. Easy to drink but nothing special.
