This is from a series of "retro-beers" that MBC has kicked out recently. I don't know much about them, but I know I've only seen them in the bottles at the brewery. Bought a few of them last week, and they've been good so far. This beer sports a retro like label with game birds and a scene of presumably the Great Lakes. Pours out to a light yellow color with a short lived head of foam. Medium Level of carbonation, and no lacing. Aromas were of fresh malts and grain, little hops and some honey-like sweetness. Taste is good; mild maltiness, a touch of hoppy bite, and smooth earthy herbs and grasses. Mouthfeel was slighty dense and medium bodied. Drinkability was north of average. A good summer brew.
