Poured from a 12oz. bottle, with no freshness date.
Purchased at the brewpub, for $8, a mixed sixer.
Pours a hazy, light yellow color, with a nice, bright white half inch thick head. Lots of carbonation, very little to no lacing. Very aromatic, lots of cloves, bananas, yeast. Lot a bad tasting beer, quite sessionable, kinda light, but tasty. Flavors pretty much mimic the smell. Light, fizzy mouthfeel, could drink quite a few of theese in one sitting. I really liked this beer, easy too drink, not filling and very enjoyable. A good brew from Michigan Brewing Company, worthy of a try.

Beer has a hazy pale yellow color. Head is light with moderate lacing.
Smell is very mild... sweet cloves, banana and mild wheat smells come through. It is lighter in smell than I would expect.
Tastes good, it lacks some of the wheat bite that other wheats have. Sweet and mildly bitter.
Feels great in mouth... carbonation level is just right. Has a heavy feel in mouth.
I enjoyed this beer but it didn't totally stand out as a great wheat. Easy to drink though.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass
A - cloudy pale yellow, a little sickly looking as the light comes through, a bright white head that leaves a ton of lacing on the glass
S - Not a ton of aroma, cheerios and a hint of citrus, like lemon pledge
T - not much here either, biscuit and cereal grain flavors with a little bit of mellow sweetness, no real hop character and no levels going on, no aftertaste which I guess is good
M - high carbonation, clean feel but almost too harsh, scrubbing the mouth
O - I guess this was "refreshing" in a cold beverage kinda way, but I would not have another.

Looks like a glass of grapefruit juice with the thickest head I've ever seen.
Lots of spices in the nose...clove, all-spice; would think I was drinking something from Belgium.
Major head retention and lots of goodness at the bottom of the bottle. Has a nice flavor from the spices, evened out by the wheat.
Extremely cleansing mouthfeel, lots of carbonation.
Not sure I could drink this in the cold, but a good beer for the summer months.

Served at the brewery taproom. Yes, it's a very German weizen type beer in its banana and spice aspect. The body is typically cloudy and sptritzy, so it's hitting all the right notes. I found its taste to come closer to their Celis White, which ain't a bad thing.

From tasting notes 9-17-11
Poured into a snifter
Appearance: Hazy straw pour with a very foamy white head that settles surprisingly slowly and leaves a delicate but full lacing behind.
Smell: Very fresh citrus immediately hits the nose smelling of fresh lemons and orange zest. There is a bit of a wheat aroma, some pine, and more fresh squeezed lemons. Absolutely inviting.
Taste: The taste was not as vibrant as the nose, but it was still a nice blend of wheat, citrus (especially lemon), and yeast. Definitely better than the average run of the mill wheat beer, but certainly nothing mind-blowing.
Mouthfeel: Light body, medium to high carbonation, very crisp and a nice, refreshing finish. Again, nothing too impressive--about average for a wheat beer in my book.
Overall: This was a nice wheat beer on the whole, and although there are certainly better ones our there, this is still a good brew worthy of a try.

A - It pours a pale yellow with a slight haze. It has an inch of white head.
S - Pale malt aroma with some fresh cut grass.
T - Mild spice. Pale malt flavors. Pretty bland.
M - Moderate to thin
O - Doesn't taste like a hefeweizen.

Overall, one of the better wheat beers available in the USA. A great beer to drink on one of our scorching, 100 degree, humid summer days. Really slakes your thirst!
Part of the Beer of the Month gift club - thank you! :o)
A: cloudy, yeasty golden lemon color. Nice thin head, smallish carbonation.
S: Fresh grass, hops, grainy/wheaty smell.
T: clean, fresh wheat beer! Overwhelming taste of clean water, hops and wheat. VERY, very refreshing. Tastes better than it smells! This is one fine wheat beer!
M: very nice, wet, wheat beer.
O: A fantastic wheaty! Very impressed with this beer and wasn't expecting that - nice to get nice surprises. Only Michigan Brewing and Harpoon seem to have perfected this underapprecaited necessary American summer treat. Rather have this than ice cream in the summer. HIGHLY recommended! Nice job on this beer.

Pours a slightly hazy yellow. Light and fluffy head.
Nose is banana and some clover. Slight rubber/plastic.
This rolls on to the palate very well. Smooth feel, rather full for style, then a citric bite that is quite pleasing. Banana flavors shine through. Just a hint of clove late. Finish is fairly long, leaves a sweet banana flavor and a bit of the citrus.
A pretty solid hefe, easy to drink, decent flavor profile.

Acquired via trade from plaztikjezuz, so a big “Thank you” goes out to him. Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a light gold color, with a very thin white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is of lemon, wheat and spice with a touch of hops.
T: The taste is bready and sweet with flavors of wheat, lemon, bananas and coriander spice. The malt character but still keeps the beer on the light side. There’s a mild hops presence that provides a little bit of balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Smooth and crisp, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
D: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, decent representation of style, this is a nice lighter beer that I could drink several of even if it wouldn’t necessarily be my first choice.

A mediocre wheat beer, a little bit of a stretch to call it a hefeweizen - tastes like a blander American pale wheat ale to me. Light yellow, weak head and lacing. Nose and flavor is some wheat and fruit, but this one didn't really blow me away (my least liked of the taster I bought). Body is too thin. Overall, highly mediocre.

A - Mild yellow hazy pour with a 1-finger white head an decent lacing
S - Has a wheaty backbone with a pretty prominent spice character semi-reminiscent of belgian brews
T - Very similar to the scent, but the spice notes seem to be muted in the flavor
M - Thin and crisp with moderate carbonation
O - It's a decent hefeweizen, but nothing I would go out of my way to introduce others to. If the flavor matched the scent a little bit more I think it would definitely be a much more interesting beer.

poured a cloudy straw color with a wimpy head that fell into a lace. the carbonation was a little low.
the aroma is wheat, yeastie, bubblegum, sweet.
the flavor has a spicy almost clove, bubblegum, yeastie, wheat, slightly sweet.
the mouth feel is a little thick for a wheat imo, but the beer is very drinkable, mainly in the hot sun.

The beer is a cloudy, golden wheat-yellow. Its appearance reflects the style pretty well. The smell is bananas and clove that are turned sour by the wheat. The taste isn't clean, but it isn't harsh either. It is bubbly and full bodied, but a little sour. There is also some spicy clove and wheat bread taste as well some banana. The drinkability is hampered due to the thickness and sour taste. Alright for warm summer nights, but just another average American Hefe.

I had this on tap at the brewpub.
A: Slightly cloudy, zero head. With the added protein from the wheat, there should really be some head here?
S: Wheaty, bready malt, slight fruit and citrus.
T: Wheat malt, with citrus and bubble gum.
M: Light to moderate body and carbonation.
D: An easy drinker you could session.

From a freshly capped bottle bought at the brewery. Pours out to a lightly fogged bright gold color with a short lived head of white foam. Traces of lace and medium carbonation. Aromas were light, but notes of grains and malts were present as was a biscuits and honey element. Taste was fair; yeast and malt mix with a sweet bread, bananas and grain element to make for a sweeter than normal experience. Mouthfeel was slightly slick. Fair drinkability. A touch too sweet for me, but still good.

Quite drinkable, and much better than expected.

Went to Webberville today to try some brews!
Appearance: average Cloudy, Golden color, not too watery looking, not too thick. Nothing special
Smell: Light, airy smell, lots of hops and lots of Cloves
taste: Not a strong bitterness, somewhat tart, but only initially. Bread-like because of the yeast. Went well with Burger
Mouthfeel: thin, but not watery, not a strong aftertaste
Drinkability: excellent, not to much alcohol, right amount of bitterness

Pours an unclear yellow colour but grows a decent head. Smell is of the standard wheatbeer aromas accompanied by bananas and pineapple.
First I thought that the taste was a little too pale but after a few zips you are surprised that is actually rather complex with tones of fruit and berries shining through the carbonation.
I would not mind drinking this on a warm day in July (rather than a chilling night in early March).

A- Light yellow with little head that goes away quickly.
S- Wheat malts, a little hop and clove scent.
T- Bready-yeasty flavor, nothing spectacular at all. Little hop bitterness on the finish but no flavor. A somewhat citrus-sour finish.
M- Crisp, thin bodied beer, pretty high carbonation.
D- Not impressed at all by this one, seems like MBC just wanted to make a generic wheat beer, do not plan on buying this one again.

The colour is pale yellow - green. The liquid is a bit hazy with lots of bubbles. The finger thick head is white and compact. Good lacing.
The smell is sourish with a distinct wheat flavour. Some perfumed notes of green apples and kiwi fruits. There are some notes of wheat dough and yeast, too.
The taste is fresh with lots of green apples. It is not as sour as I expected. Some dough and yeast, some sour exotic fruits. The aftertaste is fruity and a bit sour with notes of wheat bread/dough and a very mild bitterness in the finish.
The carbonation is medium; the bubbles are small. The liquid is very smooth, almost thick.
An OK hefeweizen... I would have liked some more sourness. The style is more American than German.

Undated 12oz pored into a weizen.
Hazed gold with a nice white head that sticks and stays a while.
Good banana and clove aromas, the malted wheat is in the background but not off balance.
Sweet with a little lemon, then some yeasty bananas, a little spicy. I like the taste, but the mouth is a little weak. Does have a nice crispness from the carbonation. Quite drinkable during this early Autumn heat wave. A nice wheat from a local brewery.
