Nice, orange pour, with about a finger of white head. Smells a bit toasty, with a solid hop presence. Has a toasted malt presence, with a nice hoppy background. Finishes bitter, nice hoppy flavor on the back of the tongue.
Very drinkable beer, probably one of the best examples of an American PA, highly recommended.

Please take into consideration I was very thirsty when I drank this beer. Poured to a deep brushed copper look with ample head and lacing. Seemed that the hop/malt combination were vying for dominance and thus detracted from each other. Noticeable hints of caramel and toffee and perhaps a dried fig tinge added to the enigma of balance. Had overtones of an amber ale to the palate, as a tea like dryness became evident. Still a reasonable thirst quenching Pale Ale that needs a little bridge work to fill in the gaps.

Hazy, dirty copper color with and eggshell colored head. It disapates pretty quickly to a solid layer and leaves a clingy lace.
Slightly fruity aroma with a touch of corn. A floral hoppiness is also noted.
A bit fruity with woodsy notes. A mild piney hopiness compliments the bit of carmel in the malts nicely.
Medium body with pinprick carbonation. Overall a decent drinker, but I was hoping for a bit more.

Pours a orange color with not much head to speak of,aroma is of herbal with malty nuttiness but pretty subdued.Taste is decently balanced with a light soapy hint some resiny hop with a nutty malt finish. Not a great brew by any means but it was worth a try.

Served on draft, at the MBC taproom. Yet another pale ale from these guys. This one does, in fact, have the spicy character of an IPA, but the body is a little darker and maltier. Hard to make this stand out among the many fine MBC brews I sampled during my pub crawl across Michigan!

Pours a clear orange with good solid head. Not much aroma, if anything it smelled faintly of vomit. Taste is a bit malty with a barely noticable hop. The more I drank the more I detected the distinct taste of vomit joining the scent. I'm not sure if it was the beer or me generating the aroma, but either way its not a good sign.
