A Has a clear golden color, and only average carbonation, which left me surprised at its impressive head.

S Nothing that you haven't smelled before.

T Tastes like any German macro-lager, pleasant but non-threatening.

M Refreshing, it would work well for pool sides or BBQs.

D Easy to drink, which is about all that it has going for it. (340 characters)

German beers consistently are in the top league of beer and this now international brew is one of the better examples. Full of flavour, refreshing and quality. As with any proper beer the difference in taste between bottled and canned is considerable and personally I only take the bottled version. (300 characters)

Poured into a pilsner a light golden with a decent sized rocky white head that was gone pretty quickly. The nose is very clean...too clean,a bit of toasted grain and faint hint of iron and that's about it.Mild flavors of toasted bread and that iron note, light sweetness in the finish.Eh I wanted something I could drink while grillin in the heat,I could have done better. (370 characters)

Poured into a lager glass. Slightly dark golden, with about a 1/2 inch of head. Left a fairly substantial ring, some lacing.

Nose is typical pilsner - bitter hops, light malts. Nothing distinguishable.

A surprisingly malty pilsner, with notes of honey. Finishes with leafy hop bitterness, but not nearly as much as I'd expected. Almost pushing into blonde territory.

Lower carbonation, slightly creamy. Smooth.

Not bad, very knock-backable. Nothing special, however, and not one I'll actively seek out again. (513 characters)

Had on tap at the Publican in Chicago. Pours brilliant straw gold under a 1” white foam cap. Malty with a spicy hop nose. Light malts lead the attack with a spicy bitter hop finish. Creamy, clean and crisp with medium light gody and medium high carbonation. A good but not great German Pilsener. (297 characters)

A 500ml bottle with a BB of June 2012.

Poured into a Sam Smith's pint glass. A clear light-gold colour with good carbonation and the odd speck of sediment floating around. Produces a large head of brilliant white foam with a fine texture; this lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a surface layer. Aroma of light grainy malt with overtones of noble hops - leafy and bitter. A faint whiff of alcohol in the background.

Tastes of light malt with a crisp bitterness. Notes of grain and leafy noble hops. A background hint of spice, stewed hops and solvent. Mouthfeel is tingly and dry. Aftertaste of faint malt and bitter hops.

A decent pilsner; crisp and refreshing with a hoppy bite. Slides down nicely - I could imagine sinking a few steins of this. (758 characters)

Pours out a well carbonated light yellow. Aroma was actually kinda lemony wheat.

Very light taste, more of the lemony character, mouthfeel extremely faint, almost no malt character, the yeast was nice and neutral. A pretty neutral beer overall, the price is a little much from when I first got turned on to these back in Milwaukee at Koppa's and The Annex. I think the draft version had less bitterness to it. Halfway down it would recede into a smoother, creamier experience. (478 characters)

Served from a fresh keg at the Atlanta German Bierfest.

Medium golden color; clear with a durable and frothy head.

As expected the aroma features light malt and hops, but with a nice note of baked bread and a hint of fruit. The taste is less interesting and nuanced. While I did not notice any flaws it did seem under-hopped.

M: near medium body; very good carbonation; smooth (382 characters)
