Appearance: Good foam. Typical straw yellow in color. Crisp bubbles.

Smell: More typical pilsner notes. Musty, German hops.

Taste/Mouthfeel: Similar to smell; lots of musty German hops. Heavier on the malt versus the hops. I definitely would have like a better balance. Mouthfeel has excellent bite and definitely a hoppy spritzy-ness.

Overall Drinkability: Pretty middle of the road pilsner, especially for a European one.

500 ml can from LCBO for $2.25 CDN poured into a pint glass.

Appearance - Light golden color looks very clean and poured with 2 fingers of head and decent retention. While the head dis there it looks nice and creamy on top. Minimal bubbles rising to the top even just after the pour. Some lacing left in the glass.

Smell- Faint grainy smells, grassy as well. Faint hops are also there. Don't know if it was because the beer was from a can but almost a metallic scent as well.

Taste- Clean, crisp with some bitterness. Any hops and malts flavors imbued in this beer are very faint and barely detectable.

Mouthfeel - Nice and wet. Medium low carbonation that gives the beer a certain fullness. Nonetheless not thin, but not as full as other pilseners I've tasted.. Soft finish and minimal aftertaste is pleasant.

Overall - a good pilsener that is better than many, but wish there was a little more in the aroma department up front. Certainly a thirst quencher, but would prefer other pilseners in comparison to this one.

Appearance-Clear golden/straw yellow with a white foam that dissipates fairly quickly.

Smell-Honey and grass notes. Not too much going on.

Taste-Honey flavor in the front that lasts the majority of the palate until it gives way to light yeasty characteristics.

Mouthfeel-Light and easy like a classic pils.

Overall-Easy drinking German pils. Nothing that will blow your socks off but something that you can drink multiple times without thinking or worrying about much.
