Poured from a bottle into a beer mug. Large white head with excellent retention. Golden amber color with a strong smell and taste of hops. The aftertaste is delightfully bitter. I bought this bottle as part of a build your own six pack deal, and I'm glad I did. It is an excellent beer.

This beer has a big tight head that stays around. Massive carbonation is streaming up with great vigour.
The aroma is a herbal hop smell typical of German pils. I detect mint and spring water in the smell.
The beer is highly drinkable. It tastes of noble hops and minerals with a mild but lingering bitter aftertaste.
The mouthfeel is like sparkling mineral water. Smooth but carbonated.
Overall, a mild but refined and delicious beer that would suffice as a standard example of a German pilsener. Very similar but not identical to Warsteiner and Bitburger.
My mark out of one hundred would be 87.
