Relatively deep, burnished gold colour. Noticeably malty aroma. Dry malt and a fair mix of hoppy bitterness in the flavor. No great depth there. Long dry finish. Clean mouthfeel, maybe a little watery. Slight metallic tang. A reasonable East European mass market pilsner. No great excitement, but decent enough.

550ml brown bottle. I had to go to the brewery website and struggle through some Polski language to verify that I do, indeed, have the Jasne Pelne here before me.
This pours a crystal clear, golden amber body, with an impressive, medium sized, white head that has excellent retention and leaves significant, thin sheets of lace down the sides of the pint glass.
Aroma is, curiously, absent. Some faint, Euroskunky hops are barely picked up in the nose, and that's it.
Mouthfeel features medium carbonation and reveals a very light body.
Taste is bitter and astringent. Malt presence is doughy, and hops are on the bitter side of herbal. This one was difficult to finish.
I rated the Okocim O.K. beer a 4, but this Jasne Pelne is one that I will go out of the way to avoid. I would love to get my hands on a bottle of their Porter, but this offering was a waste of time and money, in spite of its remarkable appearance.

Bottle: Poured a deep golden color ale with a fizzy pure white head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of corn with grossly over sweet malt base. Taste is also not too pleasant with loads of residual sugar and a light malt bill with some bland cereal that are not that refreshing. Body is average with good carbonation. Boring and not something I would wish to have very often.

The pour a perfectly clear golden amber color, the head prodigious in size, frothy in texture and a brilliant white with the lave a fine sealing sheet to cover the glass. Prototypical lager/pilsner nose, lightly sweet, crisp and refreshing, the start is quite sweet, rich in malt, the top a bit thin. Finish is pertinent in its acidity, the hops purposeful in their spiciness, and the aftertaste droughty and a touch alcohol bitter, drinkable and a refreshing beer, but not something that really Cranks My Motor.

Appearance: It is a Pale gold color with head that quickly disappears but some great lace.
Smell: This beer has a real grassy smell and crisp odor.
Taste: Grassy and very plain Not much to the taste to be perfectly honest.
Mouthfeel: Huge fizz.
Drinkability: Not what it should be for the price. It is just to plain for me.

Appearance is golden amber with a good head and good lacing. Carbonation is quite strong.
The smell is of apples and malt.
The taste is a very pleasing mineral water, malt and mild bitterness. This is a classic Polish lager taste. Quite full bodied for a lager and seems a very well made made beer with good ingredients and absolutely no off notes.
A very good lager.
I would mark this as 79 out of one hundred.

The head was dense, foamy, and lasted (a bit) longer than I expected. The body wasn't as sexy though, pale and transparent, with a bland yellow color. The smell was dry, crisp, malty and pilsner like, with hints of caramel, not bad. The taste is malty too, but the caramel aspect that I liked in the smell isn't really present, and it is replaced by a skunky graininess that I'm no fan of. Some acidity too. The finish is dry and hoppy as in German pilsners. Ok.

A golden color with minimal white colored head. A bit of hops and malt aromas. This lager is quite refreshing and crisp without having a sour and overly dry aftertaste. Not as dry as other light lagers, but still dry. The texture of the beer is not diluted or subtle. An interesting beer with some distinct flavors that must come from the European ingredients used. Worth trying.

Sampled a few times while staying in Poland. Fresh and off tap this a hell of a lot more refreshing than the common skunky European style (heineken *cough cough*) you find in other parts. A deep, solid body with some head retention. A pleasant aroma and delicate taste. As far as these lagers go, this is overall very refreshing, filling, and good quality. I have no real hangups with this one..

I picked up a case of this and was really excited to try it. I got to say, it poured nice enough, little bit of head retention but not much. The first sip I kinda was taken aback because it seemed a little bitter. Not super bitter but bitter to the point where I thought "I think I spent $32 for a case of beer and just took a bath." After a few more they tasted ok, but I wouldnt do it again. It's not worth the extra $$.

This beer pours out as a light yellow color. The head is white and fizzles away shortly after that pour. The smell is a little skunked but it's nothing too bad to take away from brew. The other aromas are of grass, malts and some hops. The taste is light, it's not very flavorful at all. It's mostly like a basic lager. The mouthfeel is alright with some bubbles to keep this interesting. Overall this is an average brew.
