A - Clear amber, little head but what there is of it does linger.. slightly.

S - Wheat, malt & a touch of honey.

T - Bitter pilsner.. pretty much what you expect. Plenty of malt. Some sweeter herbal/honey flavours coming through as well particularly as the beer warms.

M - Bitter with a mild malt coating and soothing aftertaste.

O - Decent traditional-styled Polish pilsner. Drinkable but nothing special.

Can from the LCBO, 500ml into a pint glass. Canned October 29, 2010 according to the base of the can.

Poured a light golden yellow, really clear with the carbonation quite visible. A finger or so of bubbly white head that fades to some bubbles, and leaves some light lacing. Nose has some grain, adjunct cereals, light grassy hops and a general sweetness to it. Taste has a light sense of the adjunct, more of this 'general' sweetness to it, a mild grassy (Noble hop?) hop presence. Overall, I found this beer to not be offensive in any respect and drank quite well. Not a real sense of the alcohol at all. Medium mouthfeel, medium high carbonation. I enjoyed this one to a degree.

Thanks to woodychandler for the trade.Poured from a 16.9 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of grains and malts. Taste is not great, alcohol up front, some grains, not a lot going on. Feels light in the mouth and has average drinkability. Overall this is a mediocre beer.

500ml bottle poured into a pint glass

Appearance - the beer pours a golden yellow colour with a fairly large fizzy/foamy white head. (aggressive pour) There isn't much carbonation showing. There is a fair amount of web like lacing on the glass, and the head sticks around for a few minutes.

Smell - The beer has a corn syrup smell right off the bat. It also has light hops and a grainy/bready smell.

Taste & Mouth - The beer has a nice mouthfeel, perhaps a little under carbonated. You can really taste the corn syrup and the yeast/barley. The finish is just slightly bitter and beer has a decent body, not too watery.

Drink - Just another average euro-beer.. I would not purchase again.

The CANQuest (TM) just keeps Gluggin' along. CAN you believe how many CANned beers are out there?

Nothing of note on the CAN, nor was the head very notable, either. It sank like the Titanic with no presence of DiCaprio, Winslet, or Molly Brown aboard. Color was a deep golden-amber with NE-quality clarity. BUPGOO! Nose was very hot with a scent of whiskey up front. Whoa! My CAN was marked as "7.0%" and a "Malt Liquor" and I was made a believer. Change submitted.

Mouthfeel was medium with a heat that would be completely incorrect for the style. My CAN may be different from the bottle, but they are almost identical. Shaking my head, I got an intense alcohol burn in both my mouth and in my sinuses. Whew. Finish left me trying to draw a breath as well as looking to lie down briefly. 7.0%? Maybe, but not a pleasant way to get there.

Pours out to a slight copperish yellow with a tiny head that subsides quickly.

The smell is rather nice, light bits of apple.

Taste is fairly bready for a beer of this type, but not bad at all. Hops flavor is just about nonexistent.

Mouthfeel is rather thin, carbonation is very low key.

Drinkability on this one is very high. Not too carbonated so easy to take down. Flavor is decent and not overpowering.

Poured from a 500 ml bottle into my Baltika glass. Poured a rich golden color with little head. Scents of some sweet malts. Nice well balanced flavor nothing to out of the ordinary here. Paired well with some hot wings and some cucumber slices. I got this at a bottle shop, but probably would not get it again.

Had this on draught at a quaint little Polish restaurant, The Cavalier Inn, which is just right up the road from Three Floyd's Brewery in Munster, IN. Went there for dinner with my family immediately after Dark Lord Day -- unfortunately, nobody got my joke when I ordered a Vanilla Bean Okocim and I only got some strange looks from the waitress.

A: Clear, Crisp golden color.

S: Grassy lager aroma.

T: More grassy and hay notes in the taste.

M: Crisp, clean and refreshing, light medium mouthfeel, good carbonation.

D: Not a whole lot going on, but I'd take this over any American lager. Went good with pierogies and potato pancakes and a nice way to come down a bit and finish off a big beer festival.

I bought this by accident, I wasn't paying attention and I thought I was buying the porter. I poured from a 500 ml bottle into a nonic pint glass. It is pale yellow and has a fizzy white head on it. The aroma is grassy, and sweet. The flavor follows the nose, with just the slightest hoppiness. It finishes with a lingering sweetness, not very crisp. It is light in body and really carbonated. My scores for this would be higher if it were classified as a Euro pale lager, IMO it is not a pilsner. It is not a terrible beer if you like Euro lagers, but as a pilsner it is very average.

A - Poured a pretty and clear, light straw color with about a two finger head that dissipated after about 5 minutes.

Smell - Herbal and grassy hops aroma with a hint of citrus. A typically good pilsener.

Taste - Very good balance between sweet malt and hops, maybe leaning a bit in favor of hops.

Mouthfeel - A bit of a heavy mouthfeel due to the sweetness but carbonation was good and long-lasting which helped offset the heaviness.

Drinkability - It would be tough to drink more than a few of these because of the heaviness, but it's a decent pils.

Poured from a 500mL bottle. The beer is a light golden color with a thin, white head. Slight hop presence, crisp and easy on the palette. As far as pilseners go, this one is actually pretty refreshing. Easy to drink. I'd buy if I was in the mood for a easy drinking euro trash beer.

Serving type: 500ml bottle, from the LCBO

Poured a golden yellow color, with about a 2 inch foam head.

Pretty good taste, nothing that really stands out, but a very easy drinking euro beer. Well balanced.
This goes down good on a hot summer day.

Overall this is not too bad of a beer, definitely worth a try.

Slighter larger than 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a pale yellow with a nice creamy foamy white head that takes its time settling down. Smells very clean, maybe a modest citrus and pils hop, but very minor. Taste is clean, crisp, with a good hop finish.

Overall a well made pilsener that does everything its asked to.
