Pours a yellow straw color with a soapy looking head. It is very cloudy. It has mild lacing. The smell is not very nice, but is still sweet and musty.
The taste is sweet, but not overly inviting. It is alright, but I wouldn't look for this beer. It leaves a slight weird aftertaste. I didn't care for this beer, and will not be having another. You have to love singles shops!
It has decent artwork on the bottle label!

Poured from 33 Cl. bottle. Though the beer claims to be made by the Freres Fripones of Geneva it is actually is made by Locher. Hopefully that will change and the Freres Fripones will start a Geneva based brewery. One can only hope.
Appearance: Cloudy orange with a nice half inch head.
Smell:Malty, hints of straw and mint.
Taste: Not sure how to describe this one, Minty front, with a wierd malty middel with some orange and a slightly hoppy finish, certainly complex but not sure I like it. Tastes slightly musty.
Mouthfeel: Smooth and light bodied.
Overall: Not my favorite beer, very strange and not what I expected from a style that encompasses Hoegaarden. Still I can see how someone would like it. I wondered if this might not belong to the Belgium Pale Ale style instead but it's body certianly fits with Witbier.

Poured from a 330ml fancy bottle at a little cafe in old Geneva on a beautiful spring day.
Had a nice light white head with small bubbles visible in the glass. A clear golden color.
Aroma is of citrus, malts and vanilla. Quite nice.
Taste is of citrus and vanilla with a malty backbone. Very pleasant.
Mouthfeel is very light and smooth.
Overall, a very easy to drink beeer. Very refreshing. A good session beer. I was quite impressed. I'm not sure if it really fits the witbier style, but it is good.

Brought back from my wife while in Geneva, Switzerland...
Best before 7/3/06
Appears a hazy, light gold with a small white cap that quickly fizzles out into a tiny collar. Tiny spots of lace seem to slide back into the collar.
Smell is of mild citrus, crisp wheat, black pepper, cream, dough, light coriander, and clove.
Taste is of the same aromas with a doughy yeast.
Mouthfeel is light bodied, smooth, lightly carbonated, semi-sweet of candy, and mildly dry.
Drinkability is refreshing with citrus and light doughy yeast smacking around.

It pourts a nice misty gold with a head that quickly leaves without lacing. I don't really appreciate the smell - it's both of musty and sweet which, frankly, reminds me of old sweat. But the taste is all sweetness, ending with a trickle of carbonation and a lingering sugary mouthfeel with a hint of something more complex lurking in the background. Maybe it's just the style (it tastes a lot like a Hoegaarten) but to me the sweetness overpowers an otherwise interesting brew.

A - Pours a slightly hazy rusty yellow color with a thinner white head; OK lacing but nothing special...not really looking for that in the style
S - Bright citrus aromas; a hint of yeast; spice and a little sweet banana
T - Kind of like a wit/hefe hybrid; citrus and a little yeast tartness; but the sweet fruit flavors come through mostly. Not bad, just a little off-style
M - Thinner to medium, and substantial; soft carbonation
D - Nice drinking here; not as tart and refreshing as others, but damn fine
I'll be damned, finally the first decent Swiss beer that I've had since arriving in Geneva. Worth a look.

It has the pure, clean, particular white beer taste plus a really natural and original flavor and aftertaste on top of it. You can feel that it’s an artisanal brewed beer.
The smell is also very nice. I would recommend drinking it just a bit cold (10 mins in the fridge).

tastes a bit like a liquid caramel toffee, rather sweet than sour, otherwise in the tradition of some Belgian wheat whites (Hoegaarden and others) .... actually quite a good brew from Switzerland (alas, there are not that many ...)
btw the brewer is not "Locher", but "Les Frères Papinot", and the name of the beer is "Blanche" ....

330ml bottle poured in a chalice.
A: Beige cloudy color forms a medium fizzy bubbled head when poured. Retention is small but a small layer remains forever. Very few lacings are left
S: Smell is very mild. Smells mainly wheat and yeasts. A bit sweet and a bit spicy too. Not remarkable but not bad at all too
T: Taste is also quite soft. Again, wheat and yeasts. A bit of coriander. Watery and neutral, I mean, not sweet and not bitter too
M: Very light body. Medium to low carbonation
O: Very drinkable beer. Pleasant too
