Copper colored brew, opaque, light white head. Earthy hop aroma with some malt scent.
More earthy hops in the flavor, but dominated by dry biscuity malt. Some yeast esters with a hint of chalk. A bit subdued for a pale ale, hop bitterness is adequate but the malt dominates the flavor. More on the English side of the pale ale spectrum. Kind of middle-of-the-road but still a solid brew, flavor is not flat and has good character. Would be a good recommendation for someone who doesn't like IPA's or citrus/pine hops.
