If you are looking for something crisp, refreshing and pale (in the North American style), our Red Fife Wheat beer is your best choice. The (distinctive) wheat malt flavor is complemented by a hint of German hop and aroma to achieve the perfect balance. The name commemorates the wheat variety developed in Peterborough County which has grown across Canada in the early 20th Century.

A hoppy and wheat aroma of freshness, and a bitter leaf dry taste and bitter aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel. Redish colour with a head and some lace. Not that drinkable or much of taste. But was better than the Hoogarden on tap I had just prior. Not their best.

Golden-Red appearance with a good amount of head that dissipated fairly quickly.
Not a lot of smell, a little bit of fruit and a faint wheat odour but not overpowering or overly strong.
Very drinkable beer with a somewhat dry finish. Goes down very easy - not a very strong wheat taste at all, which you might expect from the name but a good overall slightly fruity taste.
Good mouthfeel, overall I would definitely order it again but there's nothing about it that pushes it from abover average to outstanding.

Tried this one as a 4oz sampler from the brewpub. Golden pour with a sparse white head. The aroma is very toned down - a little sweetness and maybe a hint of grain. For a wheat ale there doesnt seem to be a whole lot of wheat going on in the flavour, which was more reminiscent of a generic lager.

Came a bit hazy with a large head. Scents of oranges, lemon, and wheat. Excellent sweet and sour taste. Thick mouthfeel that rolls of smooth. Very drinkable. Again, served at Hot Belly Mama's and, oddly, seemed to go well with the crawdad appetizers. The citrus taste cut right through the spices.
