Bottle: Poured a golden color lager with a medium size white foamy head with average retention and not much lacing. Aroma consists of light sweet notes with not much else going on. Taste is also dominated by light sweet notes with limited adjunct coming through and a bland aftertaste. Body is light with good carbonation. Another bland lager.

Pours an almost clear yellow color with a head that dies almost immediately. The smell is sweet like simple sugars and heavy on corn. It overall has the smell of a cheap light pilsner.

The taste is very mild and watery. Just like water, the experience leaves the mouth almost immediately. There is not much to taste here. It is a very thin beer. I would probably pass on this beer 99/100 times.

Tasted 24 December 2011, reviewed from notes. Continuing my exploration of Mexican beers that don't make it to the US. Sure, I could drink something I know is tolerable, but I'd rather try some beers I can't get at home. Who knew that nearly all of them were made by the same brewery? Not me.

Pours a very pale golden yellow. Looks rather like watery, well, you know. Minimal white head, gone fast, leaving no lacing.

Smells like adjuncts, with a hint of malts. Corn, or rice, or something like that. Smells bland, but kinda warm and fuzzy. Very little flavor to it.

Tastes, not really like beer. Mostly corn, with a bit of sweetness. Quite weird, actually. I've had adjunct lagers before, but not ones that tasted more like the adjuncts than like beer. Finish just fades away slow. No trace of hops, a tiny hint of pale malts.

Mouthfeel is the highlight. Quite thin, but with moderate carbonation. Finish is watery. About what I'd expect.

Overall, it's just bland. Not even refreshing really, which is most of what I look for from a beer like this. Tastes like corn, looks like watery urine, and doesn't do much more for me than either.

Consumed in October 2004 in Cancun, Mexico from a bottle. Feels like I am writing the same damn review for every beer! Pours a light golden yellow color with a small head that doesn't last but a couple of seconds. Next to zero lace. Smells like grains, maybe some corn? Tastes exactly like it smells. Maybe a few hops..very bland hops. Tastes watery just like all the rest. Keep walking until you reach the states and don't have another beer down here!

This pours a pale straw with a densely packed but shortlived white head. Lacing is sparse. The aroma is very light, almost non existent, just some wispy malts. The taste is very watery and reminds me of budweiser. Theres a slight grainyness, a shadow of hops and nothing else. The finish is watery and slightly grainy. The mouthfeel is full of carbonation, nearly like mineral water.

I only tried it because it wasfree at our hotel at Playa Del Carmen, I wouldnt have bought it. reminds me of Sol.

This was a clear yellow color with little to no head. No real aroma, maybe a hint of some graininess. A vaguely sweet taste. I don't think there's too much to say about this beer other than it is quite refreshing on really hot days (but then, so is water).

From notes. Drank while on vacation in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

Mild all the way around. I thought I was going to enjoy this beer because it is made by the same company that makes Bohemia. Bohemia is a Mexican beer I enjoy. Oh well. This beer is a Mexican version of an American macro.

Pours a transparent weak yellow. The head is bubbly and disappears in seconds. Little to no lacing. Not much in the nose. Adjunts like corn and rice. Some wheat and grain and a bit of hops. Still it is very mild on the nose.

Flavors are grain and wheat. Some sweet mild corn flavors. A bit of sourness and a bland hoppiness. This one was bland to me. Eveything is just too mild.

Mouthfeel is watery and thin. No body. There is plenty of carbonation which reminds me I am not drinking water. This is an easy drinking beer. It is so easy drinking it is not eve crisp or refreshing. It just does not have much going for it. It has no presence.

This one is just bland and thin. A very weak offering.

Superior is a pale yellow with almost no carbonation. The "head" consists of a tiny layer of bubbles which soon disappear. The aroma is barely there, just as faint whiff of corny sweetness. The taste isn't too bad, just a straight-forward adjunct sweetness, without any really offensive elements. This isn't too bad, but this has only one dimension: macro sweetness. Anyway, at the right place and time, namely on vacation in Mexico, I could put back quite a few of these.
