Poured into a stange glass.

Pours a very pale golden (crystal clear) body full of large bubbles rising to the quickly disappearing white head. Good clarity, not much else to rave about.

Smells of some light pale malts and slight sulfur notes. Maybe a bit of noble hop aroma but this is scant.

Light lager taste profile, including pale malt, very light non-descript hop flavor, and a bit of crackery toasted grain aftertaste. No obvious flaws in the flavor, which is a wide margin above and beyond the typical Mexican lager.

The mouthfeel is surprisingly smooth and the carbonation isn't over the top. Well done here.

Conclusion: I like this beer, but I wouldn't try to compare it to the classic German Pilseners, as it would fall far short. As a all malt lager however it does well, and beats out almost every adjunct lager around.

I don'know if it's because I've been in Mexico for two weeks and limited to a choice between Corona, Dos Equis, or Modelo, but, this Bohemia was like Flamenco Dancers prancing about on my tongue - castanets nipping at my palate. In comparison to beer from Plzen, the Czech Republic, it is more than a respectable effort! Solid in all its attributes...a FINE pilsner! My favorite latino brew to date!

Pale golden color with some darker rings. Lacing is scant, pale white, and short lived. Nothing special.

The aroma is like seltzer water with a hint of pale grains and DMS. Faint beeriness. The flavor is similarly weak. Carbonation is prominent in the flavor, unfortunately. Body is too fizzy and also very light.

Nothing special, this does not stand out from a crowded pack. Pass.

My new favorite Mexican beer aside from Negra Modelo. Pours a cloudy straw gold color. Hops are abundant in the nose. Taste is like that of a German pilsener. Hop bitterness shows its head towards the back of the throat. The beer leaves excellent lacing on the sides of the glass. This beer is also fairly carbonated, and there is a steady stream of bubbles issuing from the bottom of the glass. This and Negra Modelo are my two favorite Mexican beers.

As the owner of a Mexican restaurant and having all the available Mexican beers, this one is my favorite.

Clean straw color. Very little head.

Smells faintly fruity, with a nice bready aroma.

Taste is sweet, thicker than it appears, but has a noticeable soft and welcomed fruitiness. Very little bitterness but enough to make this a well balanced beer.

Overall, this is the best Vienna-Style/Pilsner (whatever you want to call it) Mexico offers. Clean, refreshing, sessionable, versatile enough to match most every flavor profile on our menu, and one that actually has some complexity to it.

A: Pours a clear straw color with a small amount of white head. Most of it disappears right away, leaving just a bit around the rim of the glass, just enough to leave a few spots of lacing.

S: Sweet and grainy, with a slightly fruity malt note.

T: Lightly sweet, some grain; kind of nondescript, really, but pleasant.

M: Medium to light body, medium carbonation.

Overall it's a decent, highly drinkable, but not really exceptional beer.

I had this at Guadalajara -used it to compliment a chicken enchilada platter with some habanero sauce. 12 oz brown bottle into a pint.

The color is slightly darker than golden with great clarity and visible carbonation. The head of white holds with a very small bead and relaxes leaving a spotty lace. The smell is good with slight fruitiness and gentle spice but the general aroma is malty ans slightly sweet. The feel is good with moderately high carbonation and gentle spice with mellow malty middle and crisp, semi-dry finish.

This is a pretty tasty lager with some malt sweetness and a hint of fruitines with tinges of floral notes from the hops which are pleasant. This has the kind of sweetness that reminds you of adjuncts but doesn't go too far and is nice in relation to the highly carbonated almost spicy profile. I enjoyed this thoroughly and will probably get some for times when I want a refreshing beer or something to scrub the palate when I am enjoying ribs or refried beans. I would recommend this to anyone who happens upon it at their local mexican restaurant like I did.

Pours a pale gold with 1/4" of bubbly head. Smells of faint adjuncts with notes of faint grass and straw. The taste is light malt with some grassy hops coming through; at times a little like adjuncts and some faint metal. Mouthfeel is light bodied and well carbonated.

This is surprisingly smooth and well blended. This is more than I was expecting.

Pours yellow with a nice, dense head. Good retention, too - my beer's about finished and its still hanging around. There's even some lacing!

Smells herbal and malty. As it warms, a bit of floral character comes out. No corn - for once I don't feel like I'm sitting down to a bowl of cornflakes. I mean, I like cornflakes... but this is nice.

Tastes clean, and good, though not very interesting. I like it more for what it isn't: skunky, corn-y, mineral-watery, soapy. It's crisp and the mild bitterness on the finish is just right.

The mouthfeel is good; appropriate, if a little overcarbonated.

Thus far my favorite Mexican lager... we'll see if I can find a better one.

Pale gold color, fairly clear. Lots of small bubbles. Small head.

Very crisp, grainy, a little spicy from the hops.

Clean grainy up front along with crisp bitterness in the finish. Grainy, slight sweet, just a touch of hay. Spicy-earthy hops at the end, yet it's very crisp. Light bodied, very crisp and refreshing. Right amount of carbonation for the style.

Spicy, yet very crisp.

Very good for a Mexican made Pilsner.

12oz. bottle, some sort of lasered serial code on the side that I can't decipher.

Clear goldish yellow with a short-lived and fizzy head. No lacing.

The aroma is lightly hoppy, both earthy and lemony. Subtle, but nice.

The flavor is surprisingly good. Very clean and simple, with crackery grain notes and a nice hop character: mainly grassy, though with some faint citrus. The mouthfeel is thin, but the carbonation is medium and smooth.

German Pils? Yeah right! Bohemia's probably a Mexican Adjunct Lager, but a damn good one at that. Will accompany many a carnitas in my future.

A - Slightly hazy and golden. Moderate carbonation. Looks better than the majority of Mexican beers.

S - Slight hints of hops and grain. No discernible corn scent.

T - Malty, bitter, and hoppy. Tastes more akin to an ale than a pilsner. This is the tastiest Mexican beer I've had thus far.

M - Full bodied and satisfying. Not watery at all.

I had this for the first time at a hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised and will drink this each time I enjoy Mexican cousine.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a goblet, I didn't see any dates on the bottle.

This pours a clear yellow color with a white head which quickly goes away. The smell is of sweet malt and floral hops. The mouth feel is light and crisp. The taste is good there is a slight sweet taste up front with some hoppy tastes on the way down, very crisp, the bottle I had also has a weird metallic after taste, almost like a Heineken. Overall this beer isn't bad there's just not a whole lot going on. Its not one I'd ever keep at my house, when there's nothing else I love on the menu though, I'll order it.

Pours a clear yelllow with a 1 inch white head that fades to nothing. Little spots of lace form on the glass on the drink down. Smell is of sweet grain, some grass, and citrus zest. Taste is the same as the smell with the grains and citrus zest being most apparent. This beer has good carbonation and is crisp and clean in the mouth. Overall, this is a pretty good beer and one of the better offerings from Mexico in my opinion.

Nice, bright yellow color with good carbonation. Smells malty with mildly floral hops. The taste is among the best of Mexican beers I've had - a gentle integration of hops and malt, but far more interesting than a Modelo or Corona. As a German Pilsener, it does well for the style, with a thin and refreshing mouthfeel. Overall, this is a beer that complements food very nicely. Recommended!

By far my favorite Mexican beer. A good hop bitterness, smell and taste that you enjoy through the entire drink. It has nice malt character and is very easy to drink. Not much head on this beer and what is there disappears very quickly. If you want to barbeque or hang out by the pool this is a great choice. Do not put fruit on this beer! I have to be very adamant about it everytime I order it at a Mexican restaurant. Servers think if it's made in Mexico it gets a lime. If we rated by the price this beer would deserve an A+. Not very expensive.

Making tacos this evening so Bohemia it is. I had one recently out and thought it good so now I can take the time to really enjoy it.

Stout little brown bottle with no date to indicate when this beer would be freshest, now obviously but you get my meaning.

There is ample white head atop a pale golden and clear beer. notes in the nose are slightly grassy and a tiny bit floral. Good clean pilsner malt and herbal hops round out the taste.

Mouthfeel is light and refreshing with ample carbonation and a dry finish.

Very good drinkability and an overall rating higher than any other Mexican beer I can think of.

Slainte and bueno.

Always get at least a 6 pack of this when I am down in Mexico for work.

A: Pours a clear yellow/gold color with a one finger, white foamy head on top. Pretty good retention, but minimal lacing.

S: A hint of hops with some floral notes and a bit of spice. There is a sweet malt aroma and some bready/doughy malt as well.

T: On the sweet side with a heavy malt bill. Lots of bread with a little bit of corn and some nice hops that come through as a bit of lemon and a touch of apple.

M: Medium bodied, with a nice crisp mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation.

O: One of my favorite Mexican beers. Most of my favorites are from the Bohemia line in fact. This one is easy drinking with a slight hop presence and a nice malt backbone.

Very impressed with Bohemia. I really hope it catches on as a Mexican beer, because it steps up the beer game. It is a favorite of mine for many reasons.
The smell is good. The taste is unique...a hint of potency, and a hint of sweet. Similar to Negra Modelo, but has its own style for sure. I always look twice in the stores just to make sure I didn't pass it up. I really enjoy Bohemia, there is no doubt about it.

Foil capped brown bottle poured into a pils. glass. Pours a yellow straw and quite clear, sporting a thin cap of white foam. Carbonation is light, yielding short to moderate retention.

Nose of slightly sweet and of lemony grain. Clean and straight forward with just a bit of perceived depth and texture. A bit of earthy musk with warming.

Taste is quite as expected from the aroma. Pleasant and slightly bready in texture, pinch of noble hops and a bit firmer carbonation on the tongue than the appearance would imply. Finish offers a bit of hop spice but is a bit thin in the delivery.
Apparently the light texture/carbonation leaves the feel a bit watery at times, though a good swirl and warming improves it somewhat.

A decent Pils. Not as robust as many but good stuff from South of the Border.

Poured from a bottle into a Pilsener glass.

Look - pale golden color, clear, with about 2 fingers worth of foam that dissipates somewhat quickly.

Smell - sharp and hoppy smelling. Also a little floral-like.

Taste and Mouthfeel - good taste for a pilsner, a little musky, but not overbearing. Clean taste with a little bite in the finish. The texture is pretty well-balanced.

Overall - not a bad brew, although I'm not a huge fan of Pilseners.

Little over a finger of pure, blinding white foam, lacks density and with a good portion of larger bubbles resolves down to the surface rapidly, you get a little residual concentration along the glass sides, the lacing is minimal but not nonexistent. Golden colored liquid of credible depth and solid throughout, even darker when peering down into the glass, the small bubbles well dispersed. Straw, sweet grains and corn make up a good portion of the nose, however, it’s not simple nor obvious, has a fine quality which slowly draws out pepper, orange peel as well as peach, apple, pear scents, not that sweet while also avoiding any bitter greenness. Light-bodied with a steady, refreshing carbonation which scrubs the palate. The orange, lemon citrus plays to this nicely, as does the pepper to light clove spice and pressed flowers. Shade of natural country bread but not yeasty, more crunchy in feel. The apricot, peach, apple fruit close to evanescent. Maybe, just maybe, a dollop of honey. Again, more humbly constructed than simple, just a beer trying to be a beer.

A: The beer pours a clear golden color with a fizzy white head that displays only mild retention.

S: Pretty nice nose to this beer. Some definite corn aromas to it but plenty of bread and malt notes to it as well. Only a hint of hop character which is lightly floral and spicy.

T: A solid sweetness to the flavor which is mostly bready in nature and has a hint of toast to it. Mild yeast and corn flavors with minimal hop bitterness and flavor.

M: Light to medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.

O: It's been a long time since I've had this beer and I was very pleasantly surprised by it. Quite an enjoyable beverage.

At Old Chi's on the mini tour. Pourd a yellow fizzy color (don't ALL Mexican beers do this?). No aroma that I could pick up. Taste was actually a surpirse: a little bit of malt, not overpowering sweetness, but, alas, no hop presence.
I guess after a day mowing the lawn in 90 degree heat it might suffice but I'll pass. NOT offensive but little there.
