This is a suprisingly dark beer for Vienna Lager, like a dull Irish Red almost. A forceful pour gives a big head that dies slowly, but is gone without a trace by the time I'm 1/3 done. I smell only faintest whiff of what I think is crystal malt aroma. This beer wasn't much to report on, one dimensional metallic and caramel flavor with no toasted character at all. I did notice something strange when I started eating Spanish rice with it. It took on cinnemon, woody, and boozy flavors that prettymuch made it taste like spiced rum. I'm not reviewing based on that, but they were delicious together.
Mouthfeel is a great consistency but damn, this is one flat beer, and still, it stung the mouth a tad.

a - OK - not much head
s - Good amber - somewhat lacking in aroma
t - Crisp refreshing beer. Perfect paring with most mexican food, which is what I enjoyed while drinking the beer.
m - good clean crisp beer
o - good beer for mexican food, or hot summer day.
