After a long hard day at work, there is nothig better than sitting down in a nice Mexican restaurant and getting a huge chilled mug of Dos XX Amber. Very drinkable and flavorfull. I swear something about this beer hits my central nervous system and just says "ahhh".

Had this at a local Mexican restaurant. Decent and comparable to Yuengling (my favorite mass-produced beer). Here goes:
A: OK, not good or bad. Beer pours a dark brown with a one inch head that quickly dissipates. Very little lacing, too, but not bad.
S: Not that much going on here. Caramel malt is present but it's very light (hardly detectable). No hops or yeast.
T: Good. Presence of burnt caramel malt imparts toasty characteristics. It tastes like a watered-down Yuengling. As I was drinking it I was wishing it was Yuengling instead.
M: Light-bodied; lighter than Yuengling. Slight bready character makes up for the light body somewhat, though. Not bad.
O: OK beer. Would rather have a Yuengling, but not bad.

This beer was okay. I enjoyed the barley that was in it, and I enjoyed the malt of this beer. I liked the hops that this beer has as well. Ir was not too heavy at all. And for a fairly cheap beer it was a decent beer. I have only had this beer in a bottle, I would like to try it on tap and see wich one taste better.
