On tap at Herby's. Lime again. I removed this one quickly.

A: The lager is darker, a mid-brown amber that doesn't lose its translucence. No head again; I'll continue to blame the lime.

S: The nose has a little more strength, more caramel in place of the vapid paleness of its sister. That added body makes a difference, standing out in an otherwise cold beer.

T: The Vienna adds a little more body, the caramel just a little darker and thicker. That maltiness defines the beer, a lightly toasted flavor that goes nicely with the lime. Don't get me wrong, there's more flavor here but this is a Mexican macro Vienna so adjust your expectations accordingly.

M: Mouthfeel is average, lightly toasted.

Poured into a pint glass from a 12 oz. brown bottle. Pours a medium orange/amber with half an inch of off white foam. Offers nice clarity and a somewhat short lived retention along with light lacing.

Light hop aroma along with a touch of caramel and some light cocoa notes. Just a touch of nuttiness comes to play. Rather light yet decent aroma, getting a bit spicier with warming with a notable nutmeg character.

Lightly creamy in flavor with a decent fine carbonation. Bit of caramel sweetness and finishing with a hint of drying bitterness. Slightly nutty after some agitation but otherwise a bit thin in the end. Clean yet subtle across the board, a good warm weather brew and more of a Dunkel given the malt structure.
