Pretty clear yellow pour with white head. Aroma is light bananas, wheat, and a touch of floral. Flavor mirrors aroma with a flat wheat and a touch of sweet. Medium bodied with good carbonation.

Appearance: Pours a deep yellow, quite clear and lightly effervescent. Smallish, white head.

Smell: Thin whiffs of wheat, 'nana, citrus and soapy, perfumy coriander.

Taste: A little crisp, cereal-sweet wheat quality with a serving of mashed plantains, orange-lemon and a bit of perfumy coriander with the spice turning a bit peppery on the finish.

Mouthfeel: Rather light-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Overall: A curious mashup. The clean, crisp character of a Mexican lager layered with the citrus and spice characters of a witbier.

Cloudy bright yellow with a thin head that dissipates almost immediately. Nose is not very strong - generic beer and a hint of banana and clove. The taste mirrors the nose. It tastes good though not very flavorful. It’s very refreshing and a nice beer for vacation.

Pours a light tan-amber with less than a half-finger of head. Very muted yeast and banana on the nose, with little else to say for itself. Similar demure and watered down on the palate, with a bit of astringency at the finish. One could either call it subtle or bland, depending upon your disposition.

From the bottle, it pours a clear golden amber with a modest head that soon reduces to an island and a light ring. In the nose, it is lightly bready. In the mouth, it is lightly citrus and malt. As it was akin to a kristall weizen, i added some lemon juice.

I had this beer while in Vallarta and was very happy with it. It can be hard to find. Poured from 12 oz bottle: Golden in color, smell of spices, flavorful crisp finish.

L- Pale yellow body, filtered, visible carbonation. Small frothy white head with low retention.
S- Strong lime juice notes, possibly some pineapple. Malts.
T- Light lime note, fizzy malts flavor. Leaves a chewy dry malt aftertaste.
F- Light, fizzy.
O- Not what I expected, very weak.

Clear golden color with a fluffy head with relatively short retention.
Light aroma with notes of cloves, orange citrusy, herbs and bread.
Predominant flavor with notes of fresh oranges with its peel, yeast, white bread, a hint of banana and ginger. Coriander? I thought this was a Weizen.
Dry aftertaste with a low bitterness.
Light body with appropriate carbonation.
This felt like a Witbier mixed with a regular Lager, not a Weizen. It is like their Blue Moon version. Still this is quite refreshing and good local option when you are tired from the other regulars from the big mass breweries.

This was surprisingly good and refreshing. had this in Tijuana a few weeks ago. I had no idea this existed. it has a nice tart wheat note to it. hints of banana/plantain.

Not the prettiest appearance, but drinkable/quaffable.

I think that this is the only weizen brewed in Mexico (craft breweries possibly excepted). I frankly do not understand how anyone can rate this weizen poorly; it's perhaps the best out there. The Mexican beers have their roots in the German and Austrian traditions due to a large immigration from those countries about 100 years ago. Many of those beers remain very true to their roots, this one included (Corona excepted). For a genuine delicious weizen, you don't have to look any further than this. Disfrutar!
