Picked up a bottle in Mexico City.
Really odd 1970's space future pyramid lego. Like a Disney ride logo in Tomorrowland.
Amber-ish clear color, no head.
Nose is grainy malt. Maybe some slight hops.
Taste is metallic malts, again a tiny hint of hops. Tastes mostly like a macro lager. Not much there.

Small off white to tannish head just sort of sit at about a quarter inch above a clear and bright copper to bronze colored beer.
Light aroma of lightly roasted caramel malts with a yeasty almost sour edge to it.
Light roasted caramel malts taste without much else coming through with this better than average beer from south of the border.
Almost wet feeling aftertaste without much if any tastes remaining behind with this light bodied beer.
Considering that most Mexican beers like Corona, Tecate, Dos Equis, Sol, etc are pretty not good unless you add lime and maybe beer salt, this beer seems to be above average considering the source. That's still not a recommendation to run out and buy this beer, if you want a decide beer from south of the Rio Grande you should drink Negro Modelo or maybe Dos Equis Amber.

A - Amber-orange with a nice big two finger head of white foam. A decent amount of lace is left on my plastic beach glass, but I have a feeling that more would be there if it were in a glass-glass. The beer is hazy, and although I had no idea that this was an O-fest style beer, now that I know, this fits the style visually.
S - Sweet carrot cake and cinnamon. Mild autumn leaf hops and thick caramel malts. Smells great out here on the beach (God bless free Wi-Fi and Mexican resorts!)
T - Basically similar to the nose...carrot cake dusted with cinnamon.
M - A bit lighter than many O-Fests, but somehow that's very appropriate for the climate down here in Puerto Vallarta.
D - Perfect. I'm glad I found something down here besides Dos Equis and Tecate....although I'm sure I'll manage to ingest plenty of those below average brews too. This is the true gem of my all inclusive resort!

Poured a thin layer of head on a clear, caramel colored body.
The aroma is heavy on the malt, lots of caramel and a touch of lemon.
The taste is mild to moderately malt sweet without any complexity though. It taste fine, just not interesting.
The texture is sticky with moderate carbonation.
Not bad, not great.

Poured into a glass from a bottle purchased at OXXO for 85 cents. At four bucks a pop in the hotel market for either Corona or Pacifico, I figured I'd walk a couple blocks to pursue additional options. ;) Pours an orange amber with a fizzy tan head. This goes quickly as expected, given the high carbonation.
Fair amount of medium rich malts on the nose in conjunction with notable toasted corn flavors. Tastes of light malts initially though this is soon masked as the carbonation seems to effectively reduce the surface area on the palate. Corn flavors return on the finish. Fairly drinkable but the high carbonation and corny finish detract.
