A - Golden yellow amber with a bubbly head and no lacing. Audibly effervescent.

S - Corn, grass, very light on aroma and typically macro.

T - A hint of granny smith apple perhaps, water, wet bread, not too sweet.

M - Moderate to high carbonation and thin body. Dryish finish.

O - Slightly less terrible than the biggest players in the Aussie macro game.

This macrobrew is a light golden with minimal cotton-white head. The aroma spews overcooked cauliflower and other adjuncts. The flavor is much in the same ilk---adjunct sweetness along with starchy overtones. Void of bitterness. Super dry? I'm not sure, but definitely a macrobrew.

On tap while watching hockey. From notes.

A - Poured golden and bright. One finger of fluffy white head. Good carbonation, film of retention and good rings of lace.

S - Sweet grain, grassy hop note. Really mild.

T - Sweet grain, bread, an odd fruit-maybe peach or apple?

M - Good carbonation, light body, dry finish.

O/D - Nothing good to speak of. A pretty plain lager. Avoids corny sweetness of others but otherwise worth avoiding.

OK - this is a worry.

I am now reviewing my Most Currently Drunk beer. Why? Because they took Coopers Pale off at my local RSL, and this quite frankly is the best bet on tap. So thats 2 or 3 schooners on a Friday night. My Most Currenty drunk beer.

You know the score.

Looks like an Aussie, smells like nix cos it's too cold, tastes like an Aussie, only thing it does feel good in mouth. Good in summer, and not the worst macro by far.

All in all tho - I give up - maybe time to stay in?

Standard pale, fizzy soft drink appearance.

quite sweet on the nose, little to no hop aroma, little bit of phenol, wet dough, banana tones.

What do you expect, bland, nothing much to speak of from the taste compartment. Simple grain bill simple hops. Very soft drink like.

Seems like the brewers these days are just making the same old trash in different bottles with new labels and fancy names. Its not super dry at all so I have no idea what that indicates. I didn't have high expectations and rightly so.

Another bland and uninspiring offering from Australia's "big boys" brewers.

Better than some other main stream beers... just.

Pours a deep yellow colour, with just a filmy head of coarse bubbles. No lacing, and extremely filmy. It's a very, very uninspiring looking beer. I'm not enjoying the prospect of taking a sip.

Bit of banana phenols on the nose, but mostly bland. Indeed, it has quite a sweetness on the nose - I was expecting something crisp and dry -- perhaps there's a bit of grass or spice, but it mixes up with the sweetness into something terrible.

Bland, bland, bland on the palate. Clear again, but once again with that sweetness. Overall, it's hard to say anything more than watery, however. Carbonation is a bit too fizzy, leaving it bloating. It's really nothing, but it's not even dry, for a beer which claims as much.

Really quite terrible. It's so bland, but whatever characters it has are pretty awful. It doesn't even deliver what it promises. And I wasn't overly enamoured of that prospect anyway.

I'm going to be frank. I went into this thinking that I would hate it but found it to actually be a palatable drink. Nonetheless, as an essentially flavourless beer it won't be getting high marks.

It pours a light golden colour with a tiny head. Poor head retention.

The aroma isn't bad for the style with a faint malty note and a light spicy hop aroma.

The flavour is fairly empty, as one would expect from the style but I actually pick up a touch of malt and don't find it too bad. If this was the BJCP this beer would be doing okay.

The mouthfeel is very light (in fact the FG is 0.999) with high carbonation. I don't particularly like it but it is suitable for style.

As a lawnmover beer this is very good and I could drink this. Nonetheless, I wouldn't pay for one.

Pours pale gold with a large head that quickly fades into a scum-like layer.
Nose shows loads of sweet vegetal and rice notes, with some faint spicy hops in the background, followed later by some clean malt.
Very little in the way of flavours, there's some cardboardy cereal malt before a short-lived bitterness kicks in.
Carbonation is too high.

Appearance - Usual Oz macro colour with excessive carbonation. 1 finger of very bubbly head which reduced.

Smell - Surprisingly, some of the malty odours I expect in a lager are present, but they are so mild this only deserves a 2 in this category.

Taste - What taste? Like most low carb beers, even most of the pleasant grainy lager flavours have been stripped away in this, leaving only a dry metallic flavour.

Mouthfeel - Like mineral water, but also cloying.

Drinkability - Despite all it's faults, I tend to choose this over Australian brewed Heineken and other similar lagers as a session drink. Not sure why, though.

Overall - Even worse than Pure Blonde. Bleurgh.

Appearance - 2.0
Poured a finger of white head that rapidly reduced to a thin, patchy layer over a clear body of deep straw.

Smell - 1.5
Metallic and sulfury, slightly sweet (white sugar) and alcoholic.

Taste - 2.0
Very, very bland. A little pale malt sweetness, Pride of Ringwood metal, low on bitterness and quite dry. And very bland.

Mouthfeel - 2.5
Rather thin in the mouth, fizzy at first but flattens quickly.

Drinkability - 3.0
Only as a lawnmower beer.

OVERALL - 2.05
Compared to their decent Premium Lager this is rubbish. Stripped of carbohydrates, bitterness and pretty much any flavour.

Once again another one of mr hahns inventions that i dont think that much of pours a slightly pale golden colour with decent carbonation that produces a decent two finger head,on the smell im not getting much of anything really maybe a weak hoppiness with a little malt thrown in,this beer tastes quite bland really def not how a good lager should be but in saying that probably alot better than hahn ice but not much else.

Pours a pale golden colour with a good creamy white head, very densely compacted and fed by steady carbonation. Lots of very thick lacing. Looks like a lager should.

Fairly weak hops on the nose, mostly floral with a slight grassy edge. A malt hit, almost caramel malt, but not very well balanced as it's too dominant. No yeast though so it's not unpleasant.

Has a nasty bready character throughout the palate. Has very slight hop characters somewhere on the middle but they are overpowered by this carbolic soda water character which is far too prominent in the flavour. Mouthfeel is as abrasive as rubbing steel wool on your tongue and it has a very offensive bitter hang, the aftertaste is enough to put me off beer.

This seems skillfully crafted as far as ubiquitous macro brews go, but that isn't enough to erase the revolting adjuncts and chemicals that ruin any beer flavour here. A wholly distasteful drop.

A pretty frothy beer that had plentiful large bubbles feeding the froth and clinging to the glass Crystal clear to the point of looking artificial.
there is a touch of metal with the smell but it is moderated by a sweetness that is a little berry like
The taste is quite sweet without the cloyiness that sometimes comes , for example with poor Euro Lagers.Almost a honey quality to it
feels good as it it is balanced and smooth and soft,The carbonation in the glass thankfully is lost in the mouth.
A drinkable smooth beer Dont know where the dry comes from though
