This brew was pretty much what I expected. Average all around. And that is a compliment when compared to most domestics. This beer tends to give off the impression of being an import, but in fact mine was brewed and bottled only four hours north of me.
So aside from the Australian gimmick, this really just tastes like an average American lager.
Its not great, but not all that horrible either.
Appearance: The carbonation was good. There's a good golden color. The head was not very apparent.
Smell: The smell was reminiscent of American lagers. It wasn't too overwhelming, but still retained a familiarity. Call me nostalgic of my initial experiences with beer, but it wasn't that unpleasant.
Taste: The taste was as I rated it. Average as reminiscent of an American lager. The flavor could have been more prominent.
Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel was saved by the carbonation. It wasn't all that watered down.
Overall: There's unfortunately not much to elaborate on this beer, in my opinion. There could definitely be taste improvements. Instead, the lager comes across as very bland and unoriginal.

From the infamous oil can. Brewed in Fort Worth Texas. Best by date Dec 1. 2014. So quite fresh.
Pours clear gold with two fingers of long lived white head. Lacings were spectacular and some head remained to the bottom of the nonic pint glass.
Smell was mostly white bread. Some herbal or grassy hops also.
Taste is mostly malts white bread or biscuit. The hops are mostly noticed in the dry finish.
Mouthfeel is good. Carbonation is bold and the body is light to medium.
Overall a suprisingly good beer for the style. Served as cold as possible. As the beer warmed it still tasted alright with no off tastes.
