Bought on a Southwest flight for $3..
This beer is one ugly-ass beverage. Crystal clear, yellow piss color, with a fizzy white head that disappears immediately, leaving just the champagne-like bubbes floating up from the bottom. There was actually a bit of scummy lacing near the top too. Seriously, near the end it looked like I was too lazy to get out of my seat to go to the bathroom and instead just pissed in my cup, except that it was fizzy.
Foster's smells like cereal- I guess like cornflakes. That grainy scent with a touch of sweetness. It tastes like cornflakes gone bad. Aftertaste was ever so slightly bitter, but not hops bitter. Some other bitter, like chemicals or something. Not very appetizing.
Mouthfeel was thin and fizzy. Drinkability is not good- too much corn for my tastes. But, I was on the plane, and I felt like a beer. So in this case it did the trick. Next time I'll have to try the Budweiser Select, which I heard will soon be replacing Foster's on Southwest. To be continued...

Big ol' fluffy white head with stickage atop a pale golden brew. Looks like a nice glass of beer. No complaints here.
Grassy pilsner malts with a sprite hop presence. Surprisingly, pretty clean. Well-lagered. A slight musty Euro malt note that fades. Not bad.
Pretty clean again. Slight minty hop character that doesn't pair too badly with musty grassiness, slight mineral qualities, and watery grain. Finished gruff and spiny with adjunct sweetness hidden behind a note of fair booze.
Lots and lots of carbonation present. The body is weak, but it's a quenching drink. Booze presence is a little annoying.
Fosters is okay. I would order one when fresh, if left to macro options only.
