I had this on tap in Kauai, Hawaii, September 5, 2011.
It poured a slightly hazy straw color with a bubbly off white head.
It had a typical beer aroma but with a little bit more hops.
The taste was surprisingly good. I was expecting something along the lines of a mass produced swill. However, unlike Bud/Miller, this had flavor! Its light and crisp hop flavor went well with the Kauai weather, which went from hot and sunny to cool rain showers. The hops were very refreshing and were complimented by a toasty malt lager flavor that made its home in the background.
Overall: This isn't going to knock your socks off - it's just an all around good American pale lager. I got no complaints. I would happily purchase this at a store or on-tap.
Serving type: on-tap
