Presentation: 12oz. brown bottle ; SEP0302 stamped on the bottle's neck; no ABV % given; purchased as part of a ten beer "Summer Brews" sampler pack from Cost Plus for $7.99.
Appearance: Pours a cloudy, star-colored orange with orange highlights; small, snow-white head; little in the way of head retention, but a good b-cup's worth of lace.
Aroma: Lightly of faintly sweet malt and spicy, herbal hops.
Taste: Mild, biscuity, malt sweetness upfront and throughout; gentle hop bitterness in the finish; slightly spicy; discernible notes of grain and lemon; light to medium bodied with a rather banal mouthfeel.
Notes: Not bad, but more than a tad forgettable; sweetness is a tad cloying.
Serving type: bottle
