Pours a brilliant golden straw with a frothy ivory head that dissipates fairly quickly to hints of foam.
Grain, bready malt, and light floral hops form the initial aroma. There's a bit of a minerally character and cracker-like malt that surfaces. Fairly light.
Flavor reveals that minerally character, which carries throughout, accompanied mid palate by bready malt and grain, finishing somewhat dry and clean. There's a touch of bitterness in the aftertaste.
Body is moderate, with moderate carbonation, and a slightly carbonic bite.
More malt than most, it's a very clean, easy drinking beer. Great on a hot day. The minerally character doesn't suit my palate.
