Longboard Island Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for five weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Appearance: Pale yellow, with decent foam but little lacing.

Smell: Grainy with a hint of spice.

Taste: Pale malts, with just enough sweetness and hops to give it a good balance.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied and crisp with a minimum of aftertaste.

The Verdict: Not bad. A good, solid, well rounded lager that would make a good session beer, party beer, or kick back in the hammock after mowing the lawn beer. Nothing out of the ordinary, but nothing to complain about.

A- medium gold, clear with a creamy white head that lasted throughout the beer and left lacing. Visible carbonation.
S-Malty. Notes of biscuit and slight hop aroma
T-Nice big malty flavor moderated with a crisp bitter hopiness.
M- nice and full with just a hint of the carbonation.

Nice Sunset orange coloring with a relatively thick, fleeting head.

The scent is nearly absent but hints of grain and cereal malts are found with difficulty.

The taste is very grainy, almost to a point of having texture. Backing it up is a German cereal malt flavor and some light yeast and hops. Very smooth and it goes down easy.

I would assume this is made to be an island vacation, on the beach, thirst quenching beer. If that's the case than bravo, it has succeeded.
