12 oz bottle, poured into a shaker pint at approximately 40 degrees F.

A: Pours a crystal clear pale golden yellow, absolutely loaded with tiny bubbles of carbonation everywhere. Forms a short-lived thin white head of foam that leaves no trace at all behind, not even a ring.

S: Doughy biscuit malt opens the scent, which is soon joined by hints of soon-to-be-ripe wheat field and a very faint floral tone.

T: Again with the soft dough biscuit, right up front, tasting much like the inside portion of a freshly-baked torn-apart biscuit. There's some grassiness that comes in, like a timothy hay, and some subtle notes of apple and pear, perhaps even some white grape. Underlying all the rest, a floral tone so faint I can scarcely pick it out drifts by, intensifying briefly at the finish.

M: Light in body, crisp on the tongue, with a watery finish.

O: A good example of a pale lager, balanced and subtle.

Smooth, non bitter beer. Easy to drink. Slight sweetness. Not bitter, but not boring.
