Whoa, I see that the Winter ale has now moved to a Winter Lager. And it lagered well, a tasty brew indeed.
Nice amber orange pour in the pint shacker, with a good ivory head. Really like the spicey malts and hints of coriander in the aroma and also the quaff. Sweet malty start. And just enough spice and hops in the finish to make this interesting while remaining very drinkable. Crisp and tangy, but still a smooth lager body. Well done.

Pours a clear amber color. 1/2 inch head with good retention and decent lacing. Smells of strong malt, lager yeast, and some hops. Fits the style of an American Amber/Red Lager. Smooth and crisp mouth feel with average carbonation levels. Tastes of sweet malt up front, then some lager cleanliness, slight hop kick to finish off. Sweetness levels are a little overpowering in the beginning, but mellow off rather quickly. Overall, one of the better Trailhead beer's I've had.
