Tasted at the Trailhead Brewpub on 02/23/06.

Pumpkin Orange in color with a nice off-white head. A robust pumpkin pie-like ale balanced nicely with both pumpkin and spices in both aroma and flavor. Medium bodied and smooth with a dessert-like finish.

I could drink this one all night and would have done so the 2nd night if I had stayed in town.

An excellent seasonal ... Their best offering hands down.

Pours a hazy, amber color. 1/6 inch head of an off-white color. Slight retention and poor lacing. Smells of yeast, strong spice, and slight pumpkin. Fits the style of a Pumpkin Beer. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp with an average carbonation level. It is also quite watery. Tastes of yeast, spice (cin. and ging.), slight pumpkin, slight grain, and a slight chemical flavor. Overall, a decent flavor, but lacking in appearance, blend, and body.

This is one of my favorite times of the year, and pumpkin ales are one of the main reasons. This, like others, is unique and is added to my list of good brews. Light golden orange color with a thin white head, the aroma of roasted pumpkin and a hint of spice is just fantastic. The lighter medium body supports a well adjusted malt flavor slightly dominated but smooth cinnamon with a hint of allspice. Very tasty and worthy of the season.

Note on the 2005 fall brew - took home a growler. This year (11/05) the brew is more subtle and not so overwhelming.NOW, a person can drink these all nite (which we did). All the family enjoyed this seasonal brew.

This one was a definite pumpkin ale - poured a great looking clear pumpkin/orange color in the glass with a nice white head. Could really smell the pumpkin and cinnamon and finished with a nice lite hop kick. Very smooth. Absolutely a good change of pace and very tasty – for one or two. BUT, for me, drinkability is not there after the second pint. It starts to get heavy and overbearing – kinda like eating a second or third piece of cake, just becomes too much. Still a nice thanksgiving / holiday beer.
