A: Nice head after pour, lacing throughout.
S: Coffee, Chocolate, caramel,
T: Malty, caramel-y, plum-ish, met with a hop presence. Very complex.
M: Smooth, balanced carbonation.
D: I wouldn't go out of my way to get more but if I found it again in a mix-your-own six pack, I would try another.

Served a deep amber color with a thick tan head that faded slowly to nice lacing. Aroma of dark fruit, some malt and bit of caramel sweetness. Seems to be just a hint of smoke hidden in the background. Taste follows the aroma with a mixture of the dark fruit and caramel sweetness. Has a nice mild bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body, smooth texture and nicely balanced. Easy drinker. Very nice offering for the style. having this in an Irish pub adds a bit to the character.
